1 Ta sin mim. 2 Those are the signs of the clear book. 3 Perhaps you are violent with yourself not to be believers. 4 If we will we might send down upon them a sign from the sky, so their necks remained submissive to it. 5 And no new dhikr comes to them from Al-Rahman but they were turning away from it. 6 So they have accused of lying so news of what they used to mock will come to them. 7 Have they not looked at the Earth, how many we caused to grow therein of every noble pair? 8 In that there is a sign and most of them were not believers. 9 And your lord, he is the mighty, the merciful. 10 And when your lord called Musa: Come to the wrongdoing people, 11 Fir’awn’s people. Do they not fear? 12 He said: Lord, I fear that they will call me a liar. 13 And my chest tightens and my tongue does not proceed so send to Harun. 14 And they have a sin on me so I fear that they will kill me. 15 He said: Not at all! So you two go with our signs. We are with you listening. 16 So you two go to Fir’awn and say: We are the messenger of the lord of the ‘alamin. 17 Send the Banu Isra’il with us. 18 He said: Did we not bring you up among us as a child and you remained among us years of your life? 19 And you did your deed which you did and you are of the ungrateful. 20 He said: I did it then and I was of those straying. 21 So I fled from you when I feared you but my lord gave me judgment and made me of the commissaries. 22 And that is grace that you confer upon me, that you have enslaved the Banu Isra’il. 23 Fir’awn said: And what is the lord of the ‘alamin? 24 He said: The lord of the skies and the Earth and what is between them. If you are certain. 25 He said to those around him: Are you not listening? 26 He said: Your lord and the lord of your first fathers. 27 He said: Your messenger who was sent to you is jinni-possessed. 28 He said: The lord of the rising place and the setting place and what is between them. If you comprehend. 29 He said: If you have taken a god other than me, I will make you of the prisoners. 30 He said: Even if I brought you something clear? 31 He said: Then bring it if you are of the truthful. 32 So he threw his staff and behold, it is an obvious snake. 33 And he withdrew his hand and behold, it is white to the spectators. 34 He said to the chiefs around him: This is a learned magician. 35 He wants to expel you from your land with his magic, so what do you command? 36 They said: Defer him and his brother and send gatherers into the cities. 37 They will bring you every learned magician. 38 So the magicians were gathered for an appointment of a known day. 39 And it was said to people: Are you assembling? 40 Perhaps we shall follow the magicians if they are the winners. 41 So when the magicians came they said to Fir’awn: Is there a wage for us if we are the winners? 42 He said: Yes, and you are then of the muqarrabun. 43 Musa said to them: Throw what you are throwing. 44 So they threw their ropes and their staves and said: By Fir’awn’s honour, we are the winners. 45 Then Musa threw his staff and behold, it grabs what they delude. 46 Then the magicians were thrown doing sujud. 47 They said: We have believed in the lord of the ‘alamin, 48 Musa’s and Harun’s lord. 49 He said: You have believed in him before I permit you. He is your big one who has taught you magic so you will know I will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides and I will crucify you all. 50 They said: There is no harm. We are tipped over to our lord. 51 We hope that our lord forgives us our sins, that we were the first of the believers. 52 And we inspired Musa: Travel by night with my slaves. You are followed. 53 Then Fir’awn sent gatherers into the cities. 54 These are a small group. 55 And they are enraging to us. 56 And we are a cautious totality. 57 So we expelled them from jannat and springs 58 And treasures and a noble place. 59 Thus. And we caused the Banu Isra’il to inherit them. 60 So they followed them at sunrise. 61 Then when the two crowds saw each other Musa’s companions said: We are overtaken. 62 He said: Not at all! My lord is with me. He will guide me. 63 Then we inspired Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. Then it split apart and each part was like the great Tawd. 64 And we brought near the others there. 65 And we saved Musa and all those with him. 66 Then we drowned the others. 67 In that there is a sign and most of them were not believers. 68 And your lord, he is the mighty, the merciful. 69 And read to them the news of Ibrahim, 70 When he said to his father and his people: What do you worship? 71 They said: We worship idols so we remain devoted to them. 72 He said: Do they hear you when you invoke? 73 Or do they benefit you or harm? 74 They said: Rather, we found our fathers doing thus. 75 He said: So have you seen what you were worshipping, 76 You and your ancient fathers? 77 So they are an enemy to me except the lord of the ‘alamin, 78 The one who created me and he guides me 79 And the one who feeds me and gives me drink. 80 And when I was ill he heals me. 81 And the one who causes me to die then vivifies me. 82 And the one I hope forgives me my sin on the day of judgment. 83 Lord, give me judgment and join me with the righteous. 84 And make for me a tongue of truth among the others. 85 And make me of the inheritors of the jannah of bliss. 86 And forgive my father. He was of the straying. 87 And do not disgrace me on a day they are raised. 88 On a day money does not benefit nor sons 89 Except him who came to Allah with a sound heart. 90 And the Jannah was brought near to the fearers. 91 And the jahim was exposed to view to the seduced. 92 And it was said to them: Where is what you used to worship 93 Instead of Allah? Do they help you or defend themselves? 94 Then they were turned upside down into it, they and the seduced 95 And all Iblis’ troops. 96 They said while they were disputing therein: 97 By Allah, indeed we were in obvious error 98 When we equalise you with the lord of the ‘alamin. 99 And none misguided us but the criminals. 100 So we have no intercessors 101 Nor an intimate friend. 102 Then had we a return we would be of the believers. 103 In that there is a sign and most of them were not believers. 104 And your lord, he is the mighty, the merciful. 105 Nuh’s people accused the commissaries of lying. 106 When their brother Nuh said to them: Do you not fear? 107 I am a trustworthy messenger to you. 108 So fear Allah and obey me. 109 And I do not ask you any wage for it. My wage is not but on the lord of the ‘alamin. 110 So fear Allah and obey me. 111 They said: Do we believe in you and the vilest have followed you? 112 He said: And my knowledge is not of what they were doing. 113 Their account is not but upon my lord, if you perceived. 114 And I am not going to drive away the believers. 115 I am nothing but an obvious nadhir. 116 They said: If you do not cease, Nuh, you will be of the stoned. 117 He said: Lord, my people have accused me of lying. 118 So decide between me and them with a decision and save me and him with me of the believers. 119 So we saved him and him with him in the laden ship. 120 Then we drowned thereafter the remaining. 121 In that there is a sign and most of them were not believers. 122 And your lord, he is the mighty, the merciful. 123 Ad accused the commissaries of lying. 124 When their brother Hud said to them: Do you not fear? 125 I am a trustworthy messenger to you. 126 So fear Allah and obey me. 127 And I do not ask you any wage for it. My wage is not but on the lord of the ‘alamin. 128 Do you build a sign with every revenue, tampering 129 And you take factories? Perhaps you will be immortal. 130 And when you have ravaged you have ravaged as tyrants. 131 So fear Allah and obey me. 132 And fear the one who has assisted you with what you know. 133 He has assisted you with the cattle and sons 134 And jannat and springs. 135 I fear for you torture of a great day. 136 They said: It is the same to us whether you have exhorted or were not of the exhorters. 137 This is nothing but the character of the first ones. 138 And we are not going to be tortured. 139 So they called him a liar so we destroyed them. In that there is a sign and most of them were not believers. 140 And your lord, he is the mighty, the merciful. 141 Thamud accused the commissaries of lying. 142 When their brother Salih said to them: Do you not fear? 143 I am a trustworthy messenger to you. 144 So fear Allah and obey me. 145 And I do not ask you any wage for it. My judgment is not but on the lord of the ‘alamin. 146 Are you left in what is here, secure, 147 In jannat and springs 148 And green crops and date palms, their spadix soft? 149 And you carve houses from the mountains skilfully. 150 So fear Allah and obey me. 151 And do not obey the command of the extravagant, 152 Those who corrupt on the Earth and do not reform. 153 They said: You are only of the bewitched. 154 You are nothing but a human being the like of us so bring a sign if you are of the truthful. 155 He said: This is a cow camel. She has a drink and you have a drink, a known day. 156 And do not touch her with evil so torture of a great day takes you. 157 But they hamstrung her and became regretful. 158 So the torture took them. In that there is a sign and most of them were not believers. 159 And your lord, he is the mighty, the merciful. 160 Lut’s people accused the commissaries of lying. 161 When their brother Lut said to them: Do you not fear? 162 I am a trustworthy messenger to you. 163 So fear Allah and obey me. 164 And I do not ask you any wage for it. My wage is not but on the lord of the ‘alamin. 165 Do you go with the males of the ‘alamin 166 And leave what your lord created for you of your husbands? Rather, you are a transgressing people. 167 They said: If you do not cease, Lut, you will be of the expelled. 168 He said: I am of the detesters of your deed. 169 Lord, save me and my family from what they do! 170 So we saved him and all his family. 171 Except an old woman among those remaining. 172 Then we destroyed the others. 173 And we rained upon them a rain and evil was the rain of the warned. 174 In that there is a sign and most of them were not believers. 175 And your lord, he is the mighty, the merciful. 176 The companions of the copse accused the commissaries of lying. 177 When Shuaib said to them: Do you not fear? 178 I am a trustworthy messenger to you. 179 So fear Allah and obey me. 180 And I do not ask you any wage for it. My wage is not but on the lord of the ‘alamin. 181 Cause the measure to be full and do not be of those who make one lose. 182 And weigh with the correct balance. 183 And do not decrease people their things and do not act wickedly on the Earth corrupting. 184 And fear the one who created you and the first group of people. 185 They said: You are only of the bewitched. 186 And you are nothing but a human being the like of us and we think you of the lying. 187 Then cause fragments of the sky to fall on us if you are of the truthful. 188 He said: My lord is a knower of what you do. 189 But they accused him of lying so torture of the day of sunshade took them. It was torture of a great day. 190 In that there is a sign and most of them were not believers. 191 And your lord, he is the mighty, the merciful. 192 And it is a tanzil of the lord of the ‘alamin. 193 The trustworthy spirit brought it down 194 Upon your heart that you may be of the warners. 195 In a clear Arabic tongue. 196 And it is in the zubur of the first ones. 197 Was it not a sign to them that scholars of Banu Isra’il know it? 198 And had we sent it down upon some of the foreigners, 199 And he had read it to them, they would not have been believers in it. 200 Thus did we insert it into the hearts of the criminals. 201 They do not believe in it until they see the painful torture. 202 And it comes to them suddenly while they do not perceive. 203 Then they say: Are we given respite? 204 So do they seek to hasten with our torture? 205 So have you seen if we have amused them for years 206 Then what they were promised has come to them? 207 What they used to be amused with has not availed them. 208 And we did not destroy any village but it had warners. 209 A remembrance and we were not wrongdoers. 210 And the devils did not come down with it. 211 And it is not appropriate for them nor are they able. 212 They are isolated from hearing. 213 So do not invoke another god with Allah that you be of the tortured. 214 And warn your closest clan members. 215 And lower your wing to him who has followed you of the believers. 216 Then if they have disobeyed you say: I am innocent of what you do. 217 And put your trust in the mighty, the merciful, 218 Who sees you when you stand up 219 And your instability among those doing sujud. 220 He is the hearer, the learned. 221 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 222 They descend upon every immoral impostor. 223 They throw hearing and most of them are lying. 224 And the poets, the seduced follow them. 225 Have you not seen that they roam in every valley 226 And that they say what they do not do? 227 Except those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds and have mentioned Allah much and have defended themselves after what they were wronged. And those who have wronged will know what resort they are tipped over to.
