1 Ya sin. 2 By the wise Quran. 3 You are of the commissaries, 4 On a straight path. 5 The tanzil of the mighty, the merciful 6 That you may warn a people whose fathers had not been warned, so they are unaware. 7 The speech has been confirmed against most of them but they do not believe. 8 We have put carcans on their necks and they are to the chins so they are forced up. 9 And we have put a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them and we have covered them so they do not see. 10 And it is equal for them whether you have warned them or not warned them; they do not believe. 11 You only warn him who has followed the Dhikr and feared Al-Rahman in the ghayb. So give him good news of forgiveness and a generous wage. 12 We vivify the dead and write what they have offered and their tracks and everything have we enumerated in a clear guideline. 13 And coin for them a similitude of the companions of the village, when the commissaries came to it, 14 When we sent two to them but they called them liars so we strengthened with a third and they said: We are commissaries to you. 15 They said: You are nothing but human the like of us and Al-Rahman has not sent anything down. You are nothing but mendacious. 16 They said: Our lord knows we are commissaries to you 17 And nothing is upon us but the clear notice. 18 They said: We have ascribed an evil omen in you. And if you do not stop we will stone you and painful torture will touch you from us. 19 They said: Your evil omen be with you! Is it because you have been reminded? Rather, you are extravagant people. 20 And a man came chasing from the furthest part of the city. He said: People, follow the commissaries. 21 Follow those who do not ask a wage of you while they are guided. 22 And what is wrong with me that I do not worship the one who split me and to whom you are returned? 23 Shall I take gods instead of him? If Al-Rahman wants harm for me, their intercession does not avail me at all nor do they save me. 24 I then would be in obvious error. 25 I have believed in your lord so hear me. 26 It was said: Enter the Jannah. He said: Would that my people knew 27 Of what my lord has forgiven me and made me of the honoured. 28 And we have not sent down upon his people after him any troops from the sky nor were we senders down. 29 It was nothing but one cry and behold, they are extinct. 30 Oh regret for the slaves! No messenger comes to them but they used to mock him. 31 Have they not seen how many we destroyed before them of the centuries? That they do not return to them? 32 And surely all when a whole are sent for before us. 33 And a sign for them is the dead Earth. We vivified it and brought grain out from it and of it they eat. 34 And we put therein jannat of date palms and grapevines and we let pour forth therein of the springs 35 That they may eat of its fruit. And their hands did not do it. So are they not grateful? 36 Praise be to the one who created all the pairs of what the Earth grows and of themselves and of what they do not know! 37 And a sign for them is the night. We peel the day from it and behold, they are dark. 38 And the sun runs to a residence for it. That is the preordainment of the mighty, the learned. 39 And the moon, we have preordained houses for it until it has returned like the old raceme. 40 The sun, it is not appropriate for it to overtake the moon nor is the night the preceder of the day and all swim in an orbit. 41 And a sign for them is that we carried their offspring in the laden ship. 42 And we have created for them from the like of it what they ride. 43 And if we will we drown them. Then there is no screaming for them nor are they saved. 44 Except as mercy from us and enjoyment for a time. 45 And when it was said to them: Fear what is in front of you and what is behind you; perhaps you will be shown mercy. 46 And no sign of their lord’s signs comes to them but they used to turn away from it. 47 And when it was said to them: Spend of what Allah has provided you with. Those who have disbelieved said to those who have believed: Shall we feed him who, if Allah wills, would have fed him? You are nothing but in obvious error. 48 And they say: When is this promise if you are truthful? 49 They do not look except one cry. It takes them while they dispute. 50 Then they are not able to make a will nor do they return to their family. 51 And it was blown on the trumpet and behold, they slip from the tombs to their lord. 52 They said: Woe is us! Who has raised us from our bed? This is what Al-Rahman promised and the commissaries told the truth. 53 It was nothing but one cry so behold, they are all sent for before us. 54 So today a soul is not wronged at all and you are not recompensed except what you used to do. 55 The companions of the Jannah today are enjoying activity, 56 They and their husbands in shadows, reclining on couches. 57 Theirs therein is fruit and theirs is what they call for. 58 Peace--speech from a merciful lord. 59 And stand aside today, criminals. 60 Did I not covenant with you, Banu Adam: Do not worship the Devil? He is an obvious enemy for you. 61 And: Worship me? This is a straight path. 62 And he has misguided many creatures of you. So have you not comprehended? 63 This is Jahannam, which you were promised. 64 Roast therein today because you used to disbelieve. 65 Today we seal their mouths and their hands speak to us and their feet bear witness to what they used to earn. 66 And had we willed we would have obliterated their eyes then they would have competed in a race to the path but how would they see? 67 And had we willed we would have transformed them in their location then they would not have been able to go nor would they return. 68 And him we give long life to, we reverse him in creation. So do they not comprehend? 69 And we did not teach him poetry nor is it appropriate for him. It is nothing but a dhikr and a clear quran 70 To warn him who was alive and that the speech against the kafirun may be confirmed. 71 Have they not seen that we have created for them of what our hands have done, cattle, then they are owners of them? 72 And we have mastered them for them so of them they are their mount and of them they eat. 73 And they have therein benefits and drinks so do they not thank? 74 And they have taken gods instead of Allah; perhaps they will be helped. 75 They are not able to help them and they are troops for them sent for. 76 So do not let their speech grieve you. We know what they conceal and what they reveal. 77 Does man not see that we have created him from a drop then behold, he is an obvious adversary? 78 And he has coined a similitude for us and he has forgotten his creation. He said: Who vivifies the bones while they are worn out? 79 Say: He vivifies them who produced them the first time and he is a knower of every creation. 80 The one who has made fire for you from the green tree and behold, you kindle from it. 81 Is the one who created the skies and the Earth not capable of creating the like of them? Yes, and he is the inventor, the learned. 82 His command is only when he wants a thing that he says to it: Be, and it is. 83 So praise be to the one in whose hand is the kingdom of everything and to him are you returned.
