1 Ha mim. 2 Ayin sin qaf. 3 Thus does he inspire you and those before you--Allah the mighty, the wise. 4 His is what is in the skies and what is on the Earth and he is the high, the great. 5 The skies almost break up above them and the angels praise with the praise of their lord and ask for forgiveness for him on the Earth. Indeed, Allah is the forgiver, the merciful. 6 And those who take protectors instead of him, Allah is a keeper over them and you are not an agent over them. 7 And thus have we inspired you with an Arabic quran that you may warn the mother of villages and those around it and warn on the day of collection. There is no doubt therein. A party in the Jannah and a party in the blaze. 8 And had Allah willed he would have made them one nation but he admits whom he wills into his mercy. And the wrongdoers have no protector or helper. 9 Or have they taken protectors instead of him? But Allah, he is the protector and he vivifies the dead. And he is mighty over everything. 10 And what you differ in of anything, its ruling is to Allah. That is Allah, my lord; upon him do I put my trust and to him do I turn. 11 The splitter of the skies and the Earth. He has made for you from yourselves husbands and from the cattle husbands; he multiplies you thereby. There is nothing like his likeness and he is the hearer, the seer. 12 His are the maqalid of the skies and the Earth. He extends the provision for whom he wills and estimates. He is learned in everything. 13 He has prescribed for you of the religion what he advised Nuh with and that which we have inspired you with and what we advised Ibrahim and Musa and Isa with. To establish the religion and do not disperse therein. It was hard on the mushrikun what you call them to. Allah picks out for him whom he wills and guides to him who turns. 14 And they did not disperse but after knowledge had come to them as tyranny among them. And had a word not preceded from your lord for a designated term it would have been decided among them. And those who were made to inherit the Book after them are in suspicious doubt about it. 15 So to that then call and be straight as you have been commanded and do not follow their desires and say: I have believed in what Allah has sent down of a book and I have been commanded to act justly among you. Allah is our lord and your lord. Ours are our deeds and yours are your deeds. There is no argument between us and you. Allah gathers between us and to him is the destiny. 16 And those who argue concerning Allah after what has been responded to him, their argument is a refuter with their lord and upon them is anger and theirs is severe torture. 17 Allah is the one who has sent down the book with truth and the balance. And what will make you know? Perhaps the Hour is near. 18 Those who do not believe in it want to hasten it and those who have believed are fearful of it and know that it is the truth. Indeed, those who dispute concerning the Hour are in far error. 19 Allah is nice to his slaves. He gives provision to whom he wills. And he is the strong, the mighty. 20 He who was wanting the tilth of the hereafter, we increase for him in his tilth. And he who was wanting the tilth of the dunya, we give him of it. But he has no share in the hereafter. 21 Or do they have partners who have prescribed for them of religion what Allah has not given permission for? And had it not been for the word of decision it would have been decided among them. And the wrongdoers have painful torture. 22 You see the wrongdoers fearful of what they have earned and it is happening to them. And those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds are in meadows of the jannat. Theirs is what they want with their lord. That is the big favour. 23 That is that which Allah gives his slaves good news of. Those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds. Say: I do not ask you for a wage for it except affection among relatives. And he who does a good deed we increase for him therein good. Allah is a forgiver, grateful. 24 Or do they say: He has fabricated a lie about Allah? But if Allah were willing he would seal your heart. And Allah erases falsehood and enforces truth by his words. He is learned in that of the chests. 25 And he is the one who accepts repentance from his slaves and pardons the evil deeds and knows what you do 26 And answers those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds and increases them from his favour. And the kafirun have severe torture. 27 And had Allah extended the provision for his slaves they would have violated on the Earth but he sends down by quantity what he wills. He is an expert in his slaves, a seer. 28 And he is the one who sends down the rain after they have despaired and he spreads out his mercy. And he is the protector, the praiseworthy. 29 And of his signs is the creation of the skies and the Earth and what he has diffused in them two of a beast. And he is powerful over their gathering when he wills. 30 And what has hit you of a calamity is because of what your hands have earned. And he pardons much. 31 And you are not going to escape on the Earth and you have no protector or helper instead of Allah. 32 And of his signs are the ships in the sea like the flags. 33 If he were willing he would settle the wind and they would remain motionless on its back. In that there are signs for every patient, grateful man. 34 Or he would destroy them for what they have earned. And he pardons much. 35 And that those who dispute concerning our verses may know they have no escape. 36 So what you have been given of anything is the enjoyment of the dunya life. And what is with Allah is better and more lasting for those who have believed and in their lord they put their trust. 37 And those who avoid the major sins of iniquity and the fawahish and when what they have become angry they forgive. 38 And those who have responded to their lord and have performed salat and their affair is consultation among them and of what we have provided them with they spend. 39 And those who when oppression has hit them, they take revenge. 40 The recompense of an evil deed is an evil deed the like of it. But he who has pardoned and reconciled, his wage is on Allah. He does not love the wrongdoers. 41 And he who has taken revenge after his wrong, those, there is no way against them. 42 The way is only against those who wrong people and oppress in the land without right. Those, theirs is painful torture. 43 And he who was patient and forgave, that is of the determination of matters. 44 And whom Allah misguides, he has no protector after him. And you see the wrongdoers when they have seen the torture saying: Is there any way to a reason? 45 And you see them exposed upon it, submissive from humiliation, looking from a concealed gaze. And those who had believed said: The losers are those who have lost themselves and their family on the day of resurrection. Indeed, the wrongdoers are in lasting torture. 46 And they had no protectors to help them instead of Allah. And whom Allah misguides, he has no way. 47 Respond to your lord before a day comes that has no reason for it from Allah. You have no asylum on that day nor do you have any repudiating. 48 Then if they have turned away we have not sent you over them as a keeper. Nothing is upon you but the notice. And we when we have made man taste mercy from us, he has rejoiced therein. And if an evil hits them for what their hands have offered then man is ungrateful. 49 Lah’s is the dominion of the skies and the Earth. He creates what he wills. He gives females to whom he wills and he gives the males to whom he wills. 50 Or he marries off males and females and he makes whom he wills infertile. He is learned, capable. 51 And it was not for a human being that Allah should speak to him except by inspiration or from behind a hijab or that he should send a messenger and inspire with his permission what he wills. He is high, wise. 52 And thus have we inspired you with a spirit from our command. You did not know what the book was nor faith. But we made it a light. We guide therewith whom we will of our slaves. And you guide to a straight path, 53 Allah’s path, the one whose is what is in the skies and what is on the Earth. Indeed, to Allah do the affairs get.
