1 The Hour has approached and the moon split. 2 And if they see a sign they turn away and say: Continuous magic. 3 And they accused of lying and followed their desires and every matter is firmly established. 4 And some of the news has come to them what wherein is forbidding sternly. 5 Extensive wisdom but the warning does not avail. 6 So turn away from them. On a day the caller calls to an abominable thing. 7 Their eyesight devout, they come out of the tombs as though they were locusts dispersed 8 Rushing to the caller. The kafirun say: This is a difficult day. 9 Nuh’s people accused of lying before them and they accused our slave of lying and said: A jinni-possessed man and he was driven away. 10 So he invoked his lord: I am defeated so defend. 11 So we opened the gates of the sky with water pouring out. 12 And we let the Earth pour forth with springs so the water met which had been equal to a matter. 13 And we carried him on a thing of planks and dowels 14 Running in our eyes, a recompense for him who was disbelieved in. 15 And we left it as a sign so is there anyone who remembers? 16 So how my torture and warning were! 17 And we have facilitated the Quran for remembrance so is there anyone who remembers? 18 Ad accused of lying so how my torture and warning were! 19 We sent upon them a squeaking wind on a day of continuous bad luck, 20 Taking people away as though they were trunks of palm trees uprooted. 21 So how my torture and warning were! 22 And we have facilitated the Quran for remembrance so is there anyone who remembers? 23 Thamud called the warning a lie. 24 And they said: Is it one human being among us that we should follow him? Then we would be in error and frenzy. 25 Was the Dhikr thrown upon him from among us? Rather, he is an untruthful liar. 26 They will know tomorrow who the untruthful liar is. 27 We are sending the camel cow as fitnah for them so watch them and be patient. 28 And inform them that the water is a division among them. Each a drink moribund. 29 But they called their companion and he got and hamstrung. 30 So how my torture and warning were! 31 We sent upon them one shout and they were like the fallen parts of a pen-maker. 32 And we have facilitated the Quran for remembrance so is there anyone who remembers? 33 Lut’s people called the warning a lie. 34 We sent upon them a blast except Lut’s family, we saved them by daybreak 35 As grace from us. Thus do we recompense him who thanked. 36 And he warned them of our impact but they disputed the warning. 37 And they enticed him from his guest. So we destroyed their eyes. So taste my torture and warning. 38 And firmly established torture came to them in the morning early in the morning. 39 So taste my torture and warning. 40 And we have facilitated the Quran for remembrance so is there anyone who remembers? 41 And the warning came to Fir’awn’s family. 42 They called all our signs lies so we took them with a taking of a capable mighty man. 43 Are your kuffar better than those or do you have absolution in the Zubur? 44 Or do they say: We are a victorious entirety? 45 The crowd will be defeated and they will turn their backsides. 46 Rather, the Hour is their appointment and the Hour is craftier and more bitter. 47 The criminals are in error and a frenzy. 48 On a day they are dragged in the fire on their faces. Taste the touch of Saqar! 49 We have created everything by fate. 50 And our command is nothing but one like a glance with the sight. 51 And we have destroyed your parties so is there anyone who remembers? 52 And everything they did is in the Zubur. 53 And every small and big thing is inscribed. 54 The fearers are in jannat and a river 55 In a seat of truth before a capable ruler.
