1 Al-Rahman. 2 He has taught the Quran. 3 He created man. 4 He taught him the statement. 5 The sun and the moon by calculation. 6 And the star and the trees, they do sujud. 7 And the sky, he raised it and placed the balance 8 That you do not transgress in the balance. 9 And establish the weight and do not make the balance deficient. 10 And the Earth, he laid it for cattle. 11 Thereon is fruit and date palms with calyxes 12 And grain with the husk and aromatic herbs. 13 So which of your lord’s favours do you two deny? 14 He created man from clay like pottery. 15 And he created the jann from marij of fire. 16 So which of your lord’s favours do you two deny? 17 Lord of the two rising places and lord of the two setting places. 18 So which of your lord’s favours do you two deny? 19 He mixed the two seas, meeting. 20 Between them an isthmus, they do not violate. 21 So which of your lord’s favours do you two deny? 22 Pearls and marjan come out of them. 23 So which of your lord’s favours do you two deny? 24 And his are the produced ships in the sea like the flags. 25 So which of your lord’s favours do you two deny? 26 Everyone on it is evanescent. 27 But the face of your lord, the possessor of majesty and honour, remains. 28 So which of your lord’s favours do you two deny? 29 He in the skies and the Earth asks him.
