1 When Al-Waqi’ah occurs 2 There is no false statement for its occurring. 3 Humiliating, raising. 4 When the Earth is shaken with a shaking 5 And the mountains are crushed with a crushing 6 And are fine dust scattered 7 And you are three pairs. 8 Then the companions of the right-hand side, what are the companions of the right-hand side? 9 And the companions of the left-hand side, what are the companions of the left-hand side? 10 And the preceding, the preceding. 11 Those are the Muqarrabun. 12 In the jannat of bliss. 13 A crew from the first ones, 14 And a few from the later ones, 15 On mawdun beds, 16 Reclining thereon facing one another. 17 Aeonian boys circulate among them 18 With cups and pitchers and a goblet from a fountain. 19 They are not gashed from it nor do they haemorrhage. 20 And fruit of what they select 21 And bird meat of what they desire 22 And Hur ‘In 23 Like the likenesses of the hidden pearls. 24 A recompense for what they used to do. 25 They do not hear nonsense therein nor tathim 26 Except a saying: Peace, peace. 27 And the companions of the right hand; what are the companions of the right hand? 28 Among thornless buckthorns 29 And talh mandud 30 And extended shade 31 And poured water 32 And much fruit 33 Not cut off or forbidden 34 And raised beds. 35 We have created them as a creation. 36 And we made them virgins, 37 ‘Urub, comrades 38 For the companions of the right hand, 39 A crew from the first ones 40 And a crew from the later ones. 41 And the companions of the left hand, what are the companions of the left hand? 42 In a Samum and boiling water, 43 And a shade from a fumarole, 44 Not cold and not generous. 45 They were before that comfortable 46 And were persisting in the great wrong 47 And they used to say: When we have died and were dirt and bones are we raised? 48 And our first fathers? 49 Say: The first ones and the last ones 50 Are gathered for the appointed time of a known day. 51 Then you who are straying, the accusers of lying, 52 Eat from a tree, from zaqqum 53 Then fill the bellies with it 54 And drink over it of boiling water 55 And drink the drink of al-him. 56 This is their lodging on the day of judgment. 57 We have created you so why do you not believe? 58 So have you seen what you ejaculate? 59 Is it you who create it or are we the creators? 60 We have determined death among you and we are not going to be preceded 61 In that we change your likenesses and create you in what you do not know. 62 And you knew the first formation so why do you not remember? 63 So have you seen what you plough? 64 Is it you who sow it or are we the sowers? 65 If we willed we would have made it debris then you would have remained amusing yourselves. 66 We owe. 67 Rather, we are destitute. 68 So have you seen the water that you drink? 69 Is it you who have sent it down from the nimbuses or are we the senders down? 70 Had we willed we would have made it salty water. So why do you not thank? 71 So have you seen the fire that you kindle? 72 Is it you who created its tree or are we the creators? 73 We have made it an admonition and an enjoyment for the muqwin. 74 So praise with the name of your great lord. 75 But I do not swear by the setting places of the stars. 76 And it is an oath, if you know, a great one. 77 It is a noble quran, 78 In a hidden book. 79 No-one touches it but the purified. 80 A tanzil from the lord of the ‘alamin. 81 So is it in this hadith you flatter 82 And make your provision that you accuse of lying? 83 Then why is it not when it has reached the throat 84 While you at that time look 85 And we are nearer to him than you but you do not see? 86 Then why is it not if you are not indebted 87 Returning it if you are truthful? 88 Then as for if he were of the Muqarrabun 89 Then refreshment and rayhan and a jannah of bliss. 90 And as for if he were of the companions of the right hand 91 Then peace be to you from the companions of the right hand. 92 And as for if he were of the straying accusers of lying 93 Then lodging of boiling water 94 And roasting of jahim. 95 This, it is the certain truth. 96 So praise with the name of your great lord.
