S 74 (4) Al-Muddathir

1 The one who cloaks, 2 Stand and warn 3 And your lord magnify 4 And your clothes purify 5 And al-rujz abandon 6 And do not confer seeking to acquire 7 And for your lord be patient. 8 Then when it was struck on the naqur 9 Then that on that day is a difficult day 10 For the kafirun. Not easy. 11 Leave me and whom I created alone. 12 And I appointed for him abundant money 13 And sons attending 14 And I expanded for him an expanding. 15 Then he hopes that I shall add. 16 Not at all! He was stubborn towards our verses. 17 I shall overburden him with Sa’ud. 18 He reflected and assessed. 19 So may he be killed. How he assessed! 20 Then may he be killed. How he assessed! 21 Then he looked 22 Then he frowned and scowled 23 Then he turned his back and was arrogant. 24 Then he said: This is nothing but magic that he transmits. 25 This is nothing but the speech of a human being. 26 I shall roast him in Saqar. 27 And what has made you know what Saqar is? 28 It does not let stay nor does it leave, 29 Lawwahah for the human being. 30 Over it are 19. 31 And we have not made the companions of the fire but angels. And we have not made their number except as fitnah for those who have disbelieved that those who were given the Book may be certain and that those who have believed may increase in faith and that those who were given the Book and the believers may not doubt and that those in whose hearts is disease and the kafirun may say: What did Allah want by this similitude? Thus Allah misguides whom he wills and guides whom he wills. And none knows your lord’s troops but him. And it is nothing but a remembrance for the human being. 32 Not at all! By the moon, 33 By the night when it has turned its back, 34 By the dawn when it has glowed. 35 It is one of the big ones, 36 A nadhir to the human being 37 For him who has willed among you to precede or to go back. 38 Every soul a hostage for what it has earned 39 Except the companions of the right hand 40 In jannat asking one another 41 About the criminals: 42 What has inserted you in Saqar? 43 They said: We were not of those praying 44 And we did not feed the poor man. 45 And we used to tackle with those who tackled. 46 And we used to accuse of lying regarding the day of judgment 47 Until the certainty came to us. 48 Then the intercession of intercessors does not benefit them. 49 So what do they have, turning away from the admonition 50 As though they were alert donkeys 51 That have fled from a qaswarah? 52 Rather, every man of them wants to be given unrolled sheets. 53 Not at all! But they do not fear the hereafter. 54 Not at all! It is an admonition. 55 So he who has willed has remembered it. 56 And they do not remember except that Allah wills. He is the deserving of taqwa and the deserving of forgiveness.
