1 By Al-Mursalat as a custom, 2 And The Storms as a blowing, 3 By The Spreaders-Out as a spreading, 4 And The Separators as a separation, 5 And Al-Mulqiyat of a dhikr 6 As an excuse or as warning. 7 What you are promised is happening. 8 So when the stars have been obliterated 9 And when the sky has been cleft 10 And when the mountains have been blown away 11 And when the messengers have been drawn. 12 To what day has it been postponed? 13 To the day of decision. 14 And what has made you know what the day of decision is? 15 Woe on that day to those who accuse of lying. 16 Did we not destroy the first ones? 17 Then we follow them up with the later ones. 18 Thus do we do with the criminals. 19 Woe on that day to those who accuse of lying. 20 Did we not create you from base water? 21 Then we put it in a stable secure dwelling 22 For a known measure. 23 So we had power and excellent were the able. 24 Woe on that day to those who accuse of lying. 25 Did we not make the Earth a place of aggregation 26 Of living and dead? 27 And we put therein lofty stabilisers and we gave you to drink sweet water. 28 Woe on that day to those who accuse of lying. 29 Rush to what you used to call a lie. 30 Rush to a shadow of three clefts, 31 Not shady nor availing against the flame. 32 It throws sparks like a castle 33 As though yellow camels. 34 Woe on that day to those who accuse of lying. 35 This is a day they do not speak 36 And it is not permitted for them so they apologise. 37 Woe on that day to those who accuse of lying. 38 This is the day of decision; we have gathered you and the first ones. 39 So if you had a scheme, then scheme against me. 40 Woe on that day to those who accuse of lying. 41 The fearers are in shadows and springs 42 And fruits from what they desire. 43 Eat and drink in full enjoyment for what you used to do. 44 Thus do we recompense the good-doers. 45 Woe on that day to those who accuse of lying. 46 Eat and enjoy a little. You are criminals. 47 Woe on that day to those who accuse of lying. 48 And when it was said to them: Bow, they do not bow. 49 Woe on that day to those who accuse of lying. 50 So in what hadith after it do they believe?
