1 He frowned and turned away 2 Because the blind man came to him. 3 And what will make you know? Perhaps he will purify himself 4 Or remember so the remembrance benefits him. 5 As for him who has considered himself rich, 6 You show a bold front to him. 7 And it is not upon you not to purify himself. 8 And as for him who has come to you striving, 9 While fearing. 10 But you distracted from him. 11 Not at all! It is an admonition. 12 So he who has willed has remembered it. 13 In honoured sheets, 14 Raised, purified 15 By the hands of scribes, 16 Noble, pious. 17 Man has been killed, what has made him a disbeliever! 18 From what thing did he create him? 19 From a drop he created him then determined him. 20 Then the way he made easy for him 21 Then caused him to die and had him buried. 22 Then when he has willed he has reanimated him. 23 Not at all! He has not carried out what he commanded him. 24 Let man look at his food 25 That we poured out water as a pouring-out 26 Then we split the Earth with a splitting. 27 And we caused to grow therein cereal 28 And grapes and edible herbs 29 And olive trees and palm trees 30 And gardens and ghulb 31 And fruit and grass 32 As enjoyment for you and for your cattle. 33 But when the Sakhkhah has come, 34 On a day a man flees from his brother 35 And his mother and his father 36 And his girlfriend and his sons. 37 For every man among them on that day, a matter profits them. 38 Faces on that day are radiant, 39 Laughing, rejoicing. 40 And faces on that day, on them is dust. 41 Qatarah covers them. 42 Those are the kafarah, the licentious.
