S 92 (9) Al-Layl

1 By the night when it covers, 2 By the day when it has revealed, 3 By what created the male and the female. 4 Your endeavour is diverse. 5 Then as for him who has given and feared 6 And believed in the best, 7 We facilitate for him ease. 8 And as for him who was stingy and did without, 9 And has denied the best, 10 We facilitate for him difficulty. 11 And his money does not avail him when he goes to rack and ruin. 12 The guidance is on us. 13 And ours is the hereafter and the first. 14 So I have warned you of a flaming fire. 15 None does it roast but the most miserable one, 16 The one who accused of lying and turned away. 17 But we shall keep from it the most fearing one, 18 The one who gives his money, purifying himself, 19 And no grace for anyone is rewarded with him, 20 Except seeking the face of his lord, the highest. 21 And he will please.
