1 Read in the name of your lord who created, 2 Created man from blood clots. 3 Read and your lord is the most generous, 4 Who taught by the pen, 5 Taught man what he did not know. 6 Not at all! Man plays the tyrant 7 That he has seen him, he has not needed. 8 To your lord is the return. 9 Have you seen the one who forbids 10 A slave when he prays? 11 Have you seen if he was on guidance 12 Or if he commands taqwa? 13 Have you seen if he has accused of lying and has turned away? 14 Has he not known that Allah sees? 15 Not at all! If he does not cease we will drag by the forelock, 16 A lying, sinful forelock. 17 Let him invoke his invoked, 18 We shall invoke the zabaniyah. 19 Not at all! Do not obey him and do sujud and approach.
