S 98 (100) Al-Bayyinah

1 Those who had disbelieved of the People of the Book and of the mushrikun were not to be dissolved until the proof should come to them, 2 A messenger from Allah reading purified sheets 3 Wherein are valuable books. 4 And those who were given the Book did not disperse except after the proof came to them. 5 And they were not commanded but to worship Allah, sincere towards him in the religion, Hunafa, and to perform salat and to give the zakat. And that is the religion of the valuable thing. 6 Those who have disbelieved of the People of the Book and of the mushrikun are in the fire of Jahannam, abiding therein indefinitely. Those--they are the worst of creatures. 7 Those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds, those--they are the best of creatures. 8 Their wage is with their lord--jannat of ‘Adn, rivers running beneath them, abiding therein forever. Allah was pleased with them and they were pleased with him. That is for him who has feared his lord.
