From Al-Qurtubi's tafsir on S 3:39
And Al-Tabari has mentioned that Maryam, when she was pregnant with Isa, her sister too was pregnant with Yahya; and her sister came to visit and said: Maryam, did you know that I was pregnant? And Maryam said to her: Did you know that I was pregnant? And she said to her: And I find what is in my belly doing sujud to what is in your belly. And that is because it has been reported that she felt her fetus drop with its head towards the side of Maryam's belly.
From Ibn Kathir's tafsir on the same verse:
And Ibn Jurayj said: Ibn Abbas in his statement said: (confirming a word from Allah), he said: Yahya and Isa were cousins, and Yahya's mother used to say to Maryam: I find that which is in my belly doing sujud to that which is in your belly. And that is his confirmation of Isa: his confirming him in his mother's belly, and he was the first to believe in Isa, and Allah's word Isa, and he was bigger than Isa, peace be upon him, and likewise said Al-Suddi too.
From St Luke 1:39-45
And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda; 40 And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. 41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: 42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. 43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. 45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
