Allah's Religion

We read a number of odd passages regarding 'Allah's religion'.

Approved

S 5:3 Forbidden to you have been dead animals and blood and pork and what has been permitted to other than Allah and the strangled and the fatally struck and that which has had a fatal fall and the gored and what the wild animal has eaten except what you have slaughtered and what has been sacrificed on the nusub and that you seek division by divining arrows. That is fisq. Today those who have disbelieved have despaired of your religion so do not fear them but fear me. Today I have completed your religion for you and perfected my grace upon you and have approved Islam for you as a religion. So he who has been forced by starvation not inclining to sin, Allah is a forgiver, merciful.

S 24:55 Allah has promised those who have believed among you and have done the righteous deeds, he will make them succeed on the Earth as he made those before them succeed and enable for them their religion which he has approved for them and give them security in exchange after their fear, they worshipping me, not associating anything with me. And he who has disbelieved after that, those are the fasiqun.

Chosen

S 2:132 And Ibrahim imposed it upon his sons, and Ya’qub: My sons, Allah has chosen the religion for you so do not die except when you are Muslims.

It rather looks as though Allah came across a number of religions, found Islam and approved of it and chose it for people.

Allah is called Al-Mu'min المؤمن 'The Believer'.

S 59:23 He is Allah, who is no god but him, the king, the holy one, the peace, the believer, the dominant, the mighty, the tyrant, the arrogant. Glory be to Allah from what they associate!

Regarding the 'name' 'The Tyrant', see my post: https://philhoraia.wixsite.com/website/post/al-mutakabbir

S 1:6 says: Guide us to the straight path.

S 11:56 says: I have put my trust in Allah, my lord and your lord. There is no beast but he takes it by its forelock. My lord is on a straight path.

Muslims are called 'believers' and Allah is called The Believer. Muslims pray to be guided to the straight path; Allah is on one.
