S 6:164 Say: Is it other than Allah I should seek as a lord while he is lord of everything? And every soul does not earn except against it and a bearer does not bear another’s burden. Then to your lord is your return and he informs you of what you were differing in.
S 16:25 That they may bear their burdens in full on the day of resurrection and some of the burdens of those whom they misguided without knowledge. Indeed, evil was what they bear.
S 17:15 He who was guided, he is only guided for his soul. And he who has strayed, he only strays against it. And a bearer does not bear another’s burden. And we were not torturing until we raise a messenger.
S 20:100 He who has turned away from it, he bears on the day of resurrection a burden.
S 35:18 And a bearer does not bear another’s burden. And if a laden one calls to its load, none of it is carried even if he was a relative. You only warn those who fear their lord in the ghayb and they have performed salat. And he who has purified himself, then he only purifies himself for himself. And to Allah is the destiny.
S 39:7 If you disbelieve then Allah is rich from you. And he is not pleased with kufr for his slaves. And if you are grateful he is pleased with it for you. And a bearer does not bear the burden of another. Then to your lord is your return and he informs you of what you used to do. He is learned in that of the chests.
S 53:38 A bearer not to bear another’s burden
Narrated Wa'il ibn Hujr:
I was with the Prophet (ﷺ) when a man who was a murderer and had a strap round his neck was brought to him. He then called the legal guardian of the victim and asked him: Do you forgive him? He said: No. He asked: Will you accept the blood-money? He said: No. He asked: Will you kill him? He said: Yes. He said: Take him. When he turned his back, he said: Do you forgive him? He said: No. He said: Will you accept the blood-money? He said: No. He said: Will you kill him? He said: Yes. He said: Take him. After repeating all this a fourth time, he said: If you forgive him, he will bear the burden of his own sin and the sin of the victim. He then forgave him. He (the narrator) said: I saw him pulling the strap.
