Chains of Narration

This post is 'inspired' by a Muslim's objection to the reported suicide attempts of Allah's boss. It's a not unheard of argument that that part of the hadith is unreliable as we find the words "as we have heard" therein. Sahih al-Bukhari 6982 Regarding this story, see: A Thought On the Founder of Islam's Suicide Attempts Regarding Al-Bukhari and a chain of narration, see below.

But we may look at the idea of chains of narration for quran. If there is one quran, why are there 37+ qira'at, all of which are supposedly quran, and all of which have a separate chain of narration? Shouldn't one chain of narration be sufficient? All of them are different and all supposedly go back to the founder of Islam.

Why is Hafs' qira'ah accepted as he's called a liar and whose ahadith are to be rejected?

How might Al-Bukhari have heard the cave story from someone who lived 200 years before him?

"Yahya b. Bukayr told us, Al-Layth told us, from 'Ukayl, from Ibn Shihab, and Abdullah b. Muhammad told me, Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar told us, Al-Zuhri said and 'Urwah told me, from Aisha". https://sunnah.com/bukhari:6982

Al-Bukhari's dates: 19 July 810-31 August 870.

The same hadith may be given different gradings. Ahadith that are essentially the same may be graded both weak and sound.
