""The Messenger of Allah [SAW] would sit among his Companions and if a stranger came, he would not know which of them was he (the Prophet [SAW]) until he asked. So we suggested to the Messenger of Allah [SAW] that we should make a dais for him so that any stranger would know him if he came to him. So we built for him a bench made of clay on which he used to sit. (One day) we were sitting and the Messenger of Allah [SAW] was sitting in his spot, when a man came along who was the most handsome and good-smelling of all people, and it was as if no dirt had ever touched his garments. He came near the edge of the rug and greeted him, saying: 'Peace be upon you, O Muhammad!' He returned the greeting, and he said: 'Shall I come closer, O Muhammad?' He came a little closer, and he kept telling him to come closer, until he put his hands on the knees of the Messenger of Allah [SAW]. ...That was Jibril, peace be upon you, who came down in the form of Dihyah Al-Kalbi.'""
Narrated Abu `Uthman:
I got the news that Gabriel came to the Prophet (ﷺ) while Um Salama was present. Gabriel started talking (to the Prophet (ﷺ) and then left. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to Um Salama, "(Do you know) who it was?" (or a similar question). She said, "It was Dihya (a handsome person amongst the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) )." Later on Um Salama said, "By Allah! I thought he was none but Dihya, till I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) talking about Gabriel in his sermon." (The Sub-narrator asked Abu `Uthman, "From where have you heard this narration?" He replied, "From Usama bin Zaid.")
S 14:4 And we have not sent any messenger except with the tongue of his people to clarify for them. And Allah misguides whom he wills and guides whom he wills. And he is the mighty, the wise.
From one of Sam Shamoun's articles:
Every Prophet was sent with the Language of His People; Guidance or Misguidance follows the Explanation
Allah is Kind and Compassionate with His creation, sending Messengers to them from among them and speaking their language, so that they are able to understand the Message that the Messengers were sent with. Allah said next…
<Then Allah misleads whom He wills and guides whom He wills.> after the proof and evidence have been established for the people, Allah misguides whom He wills from the path of guidance and guides whom He wills to the truth…
<And He is the All-Mighty,> whatever He wills occurs and whatever He does not will never occurs…
<the All-Wise.> in His decisions, misleading those who deserve to be misled and guiding those who deserve guidance. This is from Allah's wisdom with His creation, every Prophet He sent to a people spoke their language and everyone of these Prophets WERE ONLY SENT TO THEIR PEOPLE. Muhammad bin `Abdullah, Allah's Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, was sent to all people. It is recorded in the Two Sahihs that Jabir said that the Messenger of Allah said…
<<I have been given five things which were not given to anyone else before me. Allah made me victorious by awe, (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month's journey. The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for worship and a purifier. The war booty has been made lawful for me and it was not lawful for anyone else before me. I have been given the right of Intercession (on the Day of Resurrection). Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation only, but I have been sent to all mankind.>> Allah said…
<Say: "O mankind! Verily, I am sent to you all as the Messenger of Allah...> [7:158] (Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Abridged, Volume 5, Surah Hud to Surat Al-Isra’, Verse 38, abridged by a group of scholars under the supervision of Shaykh Safiur-Rahman Al-Mubarakpuri [Darussalam Publishers & Distributors, Riyadh, Houston, New York, Lahore; First Edition: July 2000], pp. 309-310; source; capital and underline emphasis ours) Contradictions in the Qur'an: Messengers Were Sent Only to Their Own People?
No messengers sent but they would eat and visit the market:
S 25:20 And we did not send before you any of the commissaries but they would eat food and walk in the markets. And we have made some of you a fitnah for others. Will you be patient? And your lord was a seer.
If this was a messenger, did he eat and did he visit the market? If this was an angel, angels would only go to angels:
S 17:95 Say: Were there on Earth angels walking at ease we would have sent down upon them from the sky an angel as a messenger.
An angel is a messenger. Hebrew mal'akh, 'messenger'.
If this was Jibril and an angel, as supposed, then how could he have been sent to man?
S 12:109 And we did not send before you but men. We inspire them from the people of the villages. So have you not travelled in the Earth and seen how the result of those before them was? And the home of the hereafter is best for those who have feared. So do you not comprehend?
Was Jibril a man, hailing from an Arab village?
S 21:7-8 And we did not send before you except men; we inspire them. So ask the People of the Dhikr if you do not know. And we did not make them a body not eating food and they were not aeonians.
Not an aeonian, one that is eternal or everlasting?
S 25:21 And those who do not hope for our meeting have said: Why have the angels not been sent down upon us or do we see our lord? They have been arrogant in themselves and were greatly insolent.
Had Jibril, supposedly an angel, come down in the form of Dihyah Al-Kalbi, why this verse?
S 41:14 When the messengers came to them in front of them and behind them: Not to worship but Allah, they said: Had our lord willed he would have sent angels down. So we are kafirun in what you have been sent with.
Wasn't Jibril supposedly an angel?
Good job bro 😎😏😏 exciting yo.!!
