Humiliated in Hell

S 9:63 Have they not known that he who opposes Allah and his messenger, that his is the fire of Jahannam, abiding therein indefinitely? That is the great disgrace.

S 40:60 And your lord said: Invoke me; I may answer you. Those who are arrogant to worship me will enter Jahannam humiliated.

Those in hell are disgraced and humiliated. S 19:71-72 And there is none of you but is coming to it. It was upon your lord a decided requirement. Then we save those who have feared and forsake the wrongdoers therein genuflecting.

Muslims will be disgraced and humiliated as all of them are hell bound.

A number of jinn would be damned. S 7:179 And we have created for Jahannam many of jinn and man. They have hearts they do not comprehend with and they have eyes they do not see with. And they have ears they do not hear with. Those are like cattle, rather, they are more astray. Those, they are the heedless.

S 74:31 suggests that angels will be damned.

And we have not made the companions of the fire but angels. And we have not made their number except as fitnah for those who have disbelieved that those who were given the Book may be certain and that those who have believed may increase in faith and that those who were given the Book and the believers may not doubt and that those in whose hearts is disease and the kafirun may say: What did Allah want by this example? Thus Allah misguides whom he wills and guides whom he wills. And none knows your lord’s troops but him. And it is nothing but a remembrance for the human being.

They too would be disgraced and humiliated.

One further thought. S 87:11-13 says: And the wretched man avoids it, Who roasts the big fire. Then he neither dies therein nor lives.

Would the damned, human beings, angels and jinn, be zombies?
