Some Thoughts on S 4:82

S 4:82 Do they not ponder on the Quran? Had it been from other than Allah they would have found therein much discrepancy.


How many Muslims bother to read 'the' Quran (see below) and how many ponder on it? Muslims will argue that Allah is the author of the Quran, potentially citing this verse. But is something from someone necessarily composed by him? One of the biggest discrepancies in the novel is its saying that it 'confirms' the Bible. As it does not agree with the Bible and is opposed to it, following the verse's formulation, the Quran is NOT from Allah, and it is obviously NOT from God.
