"Shekhinah

Shekinah, Shechinah, Shechina, or Schechinah, is the English transliteration of a Biblical Hebrew word meaning dwelling or settling, and denotes the dwelling or settling of the Divine Presence of God, especially in the Temple in Jerusalem."

The word sakinah is generally translated along the lines of 'tranquillity' by Muslims.

S 2:248 And their prophet said to them: A sign of his kingship is that the Ark will come to you. Therein is a Shekhinah from your lord and a remnant of what Musa’s family and Harun’s family left, the angels carrying it. In that there is a sign for you if you are believers.

In the verse above the word is used indefinitely, without the article. And it is said to be in a box (!)

S 48:4 He is the one who sent down the Shekhinah into the hearts of the believers that they may increase in faith with their faith. And Lah’s are the troops of the skies and the Earth. And Allah was learned, wise

S 48:18 Allah was pleased with the believers when they pledge allegiance to you under the tree and he knew what is in their hearts. So he sent down the Shekhinah upon them and rewarded them with a close victory

It's a fair bet that the author didn't understand the term he borrowed, nor did/do many Muslim scholars.
