In this post I present a number of passages in which the Torah is explicitly mentioned.
S 3:3 He has sent down upon you the book with truth confirming what is in front of him and he sent down the Torah and the Injil
S 3:48 And he teaches him the Book and the Wisdom and the Torah and the Injil.
S 3:50 Confirming what is in front of me of the Torah and to permit for you some of that which had been forbidden to you and I have come to you with a sign from your lord, so fear Allah and follow me.
S 3:65 People of the Book, why do you argue concerning Ibrahim when the Torah and the Injil were not sent down except after him? So do you not comprehend?
S 3:93 All food was permitted for the Banu Isra’il except what Isra’il had forbidden himself before the Torah is sent down. Say: So bring the Torah and read it if you are truthful.
If it is corrupted, why tell them to bring and read it?
S 5:43-44 And how do they make you a judge when they have the Torah wherein is Allah’s judgment? Then they turn away after that and those are not believers. We sent down the Torah; therein is guidance and light. The prophets, those who have surrendered for those who were Jewish, judge by it, and the rabbaniyun and the rabbis what they were entrusted with of Allah’s Book and they were witnesses over it. So do not fear people but fear me. And do not buy my verses at a low price. And those who have not judged by what Allah has sent down--those are the kafirun.
If it is corrupted, why does he say that Allah's judgment is in it? They are to judge from it. How can they judge from it if it is corrupted? Note also that prophets judge (present tense) by it. But wasn't/isn't the man who called himself Muhammad supposedly the last prophet?
S 5:46 And we sent on their tracks Isa son of Maryam, confirming what is in front of him of the Torah, and we gave him the Injil. Therein is guidance and light and confirming what is in front of him of the Torah and guidance and exhortation for the fearers.
S 5:66 And had they established the Torah and the Injil and what has been sent down to them from their lord, they would have eaten above them and below their feet. Among them is a frugal nation and many of them--evil is what they do.
S 5:68 Say: People of the Book, you are on nothing until you establish the Torah and the Injil and what has been sent down to you from your lord. And increases many of them, what has been sent down to you from your lord, in tyranny and kufr. So do not grieve over the kafirun people.
If the Torah is corrupted, why are they to 'establish' it? What would Jews have to say about 'establishing' the Injil? The author says: "and what has been sent down to you from your lord." Weren't the Torah and Injil supposedly sent down from Allah?
S 5:110 When Allah said: Isa son of Maryam, remember my grace upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the holy spirit when you speak to the people in the cradle and in middle age. And when I taught you the book and the wisdom and the Torah and the Injil. And when you create from the clay as the form of the bird with my permission and blow into it and it is a bird with my permission and you heal the blind man and the leper with my permission and when you bring out the dead with my permission. And when I restrained the Banu Isra’il from you when you brought them proofs and those who disbelieved of them said: This is nothing but obvious magic.
S 7:157 Those who follow the messenger, the ummi prophet, whom they find written with them in the Torah and the Injil. He commands them kindness and forbids them baseness and declares lawful for them the good things and declares unlawful for them the bad and lays their burden from them and the shackles that were on them. So those who have believed in him and aided him and helped him and followed the light that was sent down with him, those are the successful.
If the Torah is corrupted, how might one expect to find this ummi prophet therein?
S 9:111 Allah has bought from the believers their souls and their monies because theirs is the Jannah. They fight in the way of Allah. They kill and are killed. A promise upon him, a law, in the Torah and the Injil and the Quran. And who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? So rejoice in your sale which you have contracted. And that, it is the great win.
Allah's under a law and this is to be found in the Torah?
S 48:29 Muhammad is Allah’s messenger and those with him are severe against the kuffar, merciful among them. You see them bowing, doing sujud, seeking favour from Allah and pleasure. Their mark is on their faces from the trace of sujud. That is their similitude in the Torah. And their similitude in the Injil is like a seed, its shoot has come out then it has strengthened it then it has become thick and has ascended on its stem pleasing the sowers that he may enrage the kuffar by them. Allah has promised those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds among them forgiveness and a great wage.
S 61:6 And when Isa son of Maryam said: Banu Isra’il, I am Allah’s messenger to you, confirming what is in front of me of the Torah and as one giving the good news of a messenger coming after me, called Ahmad. But when he came to them with the proofs they said: This is obvious magic.
S 62:5 A similitude of those who were burdened with the Torah then did not bear it is like the similitude of the donkey that carries Scriptures. Miserable was the similitude of the people who called Allah’s verses a lie. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
