S 2:99 And we sent down to you clear verses and none disbelieves in them but the fasiqun.

S 2:231 And when you have divorced the women and they have reached their term, hold them with kindness or dismiss them with kindness. And do not hold them in harm to transgress. And he who does that has wronged himself. And do not take Allah’s verses as a quip, and remember Allah’s grace upon you and what he has sent down upon you of the book and the wisdom. He advises you therewith. And fear Allah and know that Allah is learned in everything.

S 2:252 Those are Allah’s verses, we read them to you in truth. And you are of the commissaries.

Allah reads its verses to the founder of Islam like a poet declaiming?

S 3:7 He is the one who sent down upon you the book; of it are muhkamat verses. They are the mother of the book and others are mutashabihat. As for those in whose hearts is aberration, they follow what he copied from it, seeking fitnah and seeking its interpretation. And none knows its interpretation but Allah. And the firm in knowledge say: We have believed in it. All is from our lord. And none remembers except the possessors of albab.

Does an author interpret his own work?

S 3:101 And how could you disbelieve when Allah’s verses are read to you and his messenger is among you? And he who clings to Allah has been guided to a straight path.

S 3:108 These are Allah’s verses. We read them to you in truth. And Allah does not want wrong for the ‘alamin.

S 3:113 They are not equal. Among the People of the Book is a nation standing reading Allah's verses during the hours of the night and they do sujud.

S 4:140 And he has sent down upon you in the book that when you have heard Allah’s verses being disbelieved in and mocked do not sit with them until they engage in a hadith other than it. You then would be the like of them. Allah is gathering the hypocrites and the kafirun in Jahannam, all.

S 19:58 Those are the ones Allah graced of the prophets of Adam’s offspring and of him we carried with Nuh and of Ibrahim’s offspring and Isra’il and of those we guided and selected. When Al-Rahman’s verses are read to them they fell doing sujud and weeping.

S 22:16 And thus have we sent it down as clear verses and that Allah guides whom he wants.

S 24:1 A surah. We have sent it down and we have made it obligatory and we have sent down therein clear verses; perhaps you will remember.

S 24:34 And we have sent down to you clarified verses and a similitude of those who passed away before you and an exhortation for the fearers.

S 24:46 We have sent down clear verses. And Allah guides whom he wills to a straight path.

S 28:87 And do not let them block you from Allah’s verses after when they have been sent down to you. And call to your lord. And do not be of the mushrikun.

S 29:49 Rather, it is clear verses in the chests of those who have been given knowledge. And none rejects our verses but the wrongdoers.

S 33:34 And remember what is read in your houses of Allah’s verses and wisdom. Allah was nice, an expert.

S 39:71 And those who have disbelieved were driven to Jahannam in batches until when they came to it its gates were opened and its keepers said to them: Did messengers not come to you from you reading your lord’s verses to you and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours? They said: Yes, but the word of torture has been confirmed against the kafirun.

Why does hell require gates and guards?

S 40:4 None argues about Allah’s verses except those who have disbelieved so do not let their movement in the countries delude you.

S 40:56 Those who argue concerning Allah’s verses without authority having come to them, there is nothing in their chests but atrocity, they do not reach it. So seek refuge in Allah. He is the hearer, the seer.

S 40:69 Have you not looked at those who argue about Allah’s verses? How they are turned away?

S 45:6 Those are Allah’s verses. We read them to you in truth. So in what hadith after Allah and his verses do they believe?

S 45:8 Who hears Allah’s verses read to him then persists arrogantly as though he had not heard them. So give him good news of painful torture.

S 45:35 That is because you took Allah’s verses as a quip and the dunya life deluded you. So today they are not taken out of it nor are they asked for favour.

S 57:9 He is the one who sends down clear verses upon his slave to bring you out of the darknesses into the light. And Allah is kind, merciful to you.

S 58:5 Those who oppose Allah and his messenger have been suppressed as those before them have been suppressed. And we have sent down clear verses. And for the kafirun there is base torture.

S 65:11 A messenger reading to you Allah’s clear verses that he may bring out those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds out of the darknesses into the light. And he who believes in Allah and does a righteous deed, he admits him to jannat, rivers running beneath them, abiding therein forever. Allah has done good for him in provision.
