In this short post we shall be looking at verses in which Allah apparently swears by Allah.

S 16:56 And they assign a share of what we have provided them with for what they do not know. By Allah, you shall be asked about what you used to fabricate!

S 16:63 By Allah, we sent to nations before you but the Devil adorned for them their deeds. So he is their protector today and theirs is painful torture.

These verses use the word تالله tallahi, a variant of والله wallahi.

'Allah' also says إن شاء الله in sha'a Allah in S 48:27.

And Allah has confirmed his messenger the vision in truth. You shall enter the Sacred Mosque, if Allah wills, secure, your heads shaved and shortened, not fearing. But he knew what you did not know and he made instead of that a close conquest.
