Translated from Arabic:

Ali b. Muhammad told us, Waki' told us, from Al-'Amash, from Khaythamah, from 'Adi b. Hatim. He said: The messenger of Allah --Allah pray for him and salute him--said: There is none of you but his lord will speak to him with no interpreter between him and him and he looks to the right of him but sees not but a thing that he has offered then he looks to his left but sees not but a thing that he has offered then he looks before him and the fire receives him, so he among you who has been able to guard himself against the fire, even if it is with half a date, let him do so.

Does Allah ordinarily use one but doesn't on this occasion?
