S 2:61 And when you said: Musa, we shall not be patient with one food so invoke your lord for us to bring out for us of what the Earth grows, of its green plants and its cucumbers and its fum and its lentils and its onions. He said: Would you replace that which is lower with that which is better? Go down to Egypt. Then you will have what you have asked for. And humiliation and destitution were struck upon them and they returned with anger from Allah. That is because they used to disbelieve in the signs of Allah and kill the prophets without right. That is because they disobeyed and were transgressing.

This is supposed to be when the Israelites had left Egypt, but now Musa is telling them to go back to Egypt? And down from where?

S 10:87 And we inspired Musa and his brother: Settle your people in Egypt in houses and make your houses a qiblah and perform salat and give good news to the believers.

Musa's and Harun's people were already in Egypt and they would have had houses. The Israelites were to have a qiblah? Towards what? Regarding the qiblah, see: The Change of the Qiblah What would have been the salat, a series of phrases but called 'prayer', for Musa?

S 12:21 And the one who bought him from Egypt said to his woman: Honour his abode. Perhaps he will benefit us or we shall take him as a child. And thus we gave power to Yusuf in the land and that we might teach him of the interpretation of ahadith. And Allah is victor over his affair but most people do not know.

Was Yusuf bought in Egypt?

S 12:99 And when they entered upon Yusuf he put his parents up and said: Enter Egypt, if Allah wills, secure.

Where was this, in Canaan? I see no indication that he went there. The Biblical Joseph's mother had died years before. Qur'an Error: Did Joseph's parents go to Egypt?

S 43:51 And Fir’awn called among his people. He said: People, is the dominion of Egypt not mine and these rivers running beneath me? So do you not see?

Were the Israelites supposedly to inherit Egypt? See the article below.
