In the Fire

S 7:38 He said: Enter among nations that passed away before you of jinn and men in the fire. Every time a nation entered it cursed its sister until when they had overtaken one another in it, all, the last of them said of the first of them: Our lord, these misguided us so give them double torture of the fire. He said: For all is double but you do not know.

S 9:17 It was not for the mushrikun to restore the mosques of Allah witnessing against themselves in kufr. Those, their deeds have become worthless and in the fire they abide indefinitely.

S 9:35 The day it is heated upon it in the fire of Jahannam and their foreheads and their sides and their backs are branded with it. This is what you amassed for yourselves so taste what you used to amass.

S 9:63 Have they not known that he who opposes Allah and his messenger, that his is the fire of Jahannam, abiding therein indefinitely? That is the great disgrace.

Allah AND its messenger? Shirk? Might the self-appointed messenger be one to restore a mosque? See above. An opponent would abide indefinitely in the fire? For how long exactly?

9:68 Allah has promised the male hypocrites and the female hypocrites and the kuffar the fire of Jahannam, abiding therein indefinitely. It is their reckoning. And Allah has cursed them and theirs is lasting torture.

Lasting, so not eternal.

S 9:109 Is then he who has founded his building upon taqwa from Allah and pleasure better or he who has founded his building upon a collapsing bluff edge so it has collapsed with him in the fire of Jahannam? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.

S 11:106 And as for those who were wretched, in the fire. Theirs therein is exhalation and inhalation.

S 13:17 He has sent down from the sky water and valleys have flown by their quantity and the stream has carried rising foam. And from what they kindle on it in the fire to seek a bijou or pleasure, scum the like of it. Thus does Allah give the truth and the falsehood. And as for the scum, it passes away as dross. And as for what benefits people, it remains in the Earth. Thus does Allah give the similitudes.

S 27:8 But when he came to it it was called: Blessed are those in the fire and those around it. And glory be to Allah lord of the ‘alamin.

S 27:90 And he who has come with the evil deed, their faces were thrust into the fire. Are you recompensed but for what you used to do?

S 33:66 A day their faces are turned in the fire they say: Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the messenger!

S 38:61 They said: Our lord, he who presented this to us, increase for him double torture in the fire.

S 39:19 So is he upon whom the word of torture has been confirmed? Then can you rescue him in the fire?

S 40:47 And when they dispute in the fire the weak say to those who had been arrogant: We were followers of yours so can you avert a share of the fire from us?

S 40:49 And those in the fire said to the keepers of Jahannam: Invoke your lord to lighten for us a day of the torture.

S 40:72 Into the boiling water then into the fire, heated.

S 41:40 Those who distort in our verses are not hidden from us. So is he who is thrown into the fire better or is he who comes secure on the day of resurrection? Do what you have willed. He is a seer of what you do.

S 47:15 A similitude of the Jannah which the fearers have been promised. Therein are rivers of water that is not stagnant and rivers of milk whose taste has not changed and rivers of wine, delicious to the drinkers, and rivers of clarified honey and theirs therein of all the fruits and forgiveness from their lord like those who abide indefinitely in the fire and have been given to drink boiling water and it has cut their intestines up.

S 54:48 A day they are dragged in the fire on their faces. Taste the touch of Saqar!

S 59:17 So their result was that they are in the fire abiding therein indefinitely. And that is the recompense of the wrongdoers.

S 98:6 Those who have disbelieved of the People of the Book and of the mushrikun are in the fire of Jahannam, abiding therein indefinitely. Those--they are the worst of creatures.
