S 7:53 (39th) Do they await but its interpretation? On a day its interpretation comes those who forgot it before say: Our lord’s messengers came with the truth so do we have any intercessors that they may intercede for us or are we returned that we may do other than that which we used to do? They have lost themselves and strayed from them has what they used to fabricate.
Does 'it' refer back to 'book' in the previous verse? Is this quran? Does the author understand the meaning of ta'wil here?
S 17:35 (50th) And cause the measure to be full when you have measured and weigh with the straight balance. That is better and best in interpretation.
S 10:39 (51st) Rather, they have called what they have not encompassed in its knowledge a lie and when its interpretation comes to them. Thus did those before them accuse of lying so see how the result of the wrongdoers was.
The interpretation of what? Quran?
S 12:6 (53rd) And thus does your lord choose you and teach you of the interpretation of the ahadith and complete his grace upon you and upon Ya’qub’s family as he completed it upon your two fathers before, Ibrahim and Ishaq. Your lord is learned, wise.
S 12:21 And the one who bought him from Egypt said to his woman: Honour his abode. Perhaps he will benefit us or we shall take him as a child. S 12:36 And two youths entered the prison with him. One of them said: I see me pressing wine. And the other said: I see me carrying bread above my head, the bird eating of it. Inform us of its interpretation. We see you of the good-doers.
Youths? This is in conflict with the Bible, which quran 'confirms'. They were adults. Pressing wine? What might doing good have to do with interpreting a dream?
S 12:37 He said: Food you are provided with does not come to you but I have informed you of its interpretation before it comes to you. That is of what my lord has taught me. I have left the cult of a people who do not believe in Allah and they in the hereafter, they are kafirun.
S 12:44 They said: Fagots of dreams and we are not learned in the interpretation of dreams.
S 12:45 And the one who survived of them and remembered after a period: I shall inform you of its interpretation so send me.
S 12:100 And he raised his parents upon the throne and they fell down to him doing sujud. And he said: My father, this is the interpretation of my dream before. My lord has made it true. And he did good to me when he took me out of the prison and brought you from the Bedouin life after the Devil had incited between me and my brothers. My lord is nice to what he wills. He is the knower, the wise.
S 12:101 My lord, you have given me of the dominion and taught me of the interpretation of ahadith. The splitter of the skies and the Earth, you are my protector, in the dunya and the hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and attach me to the righteous.
S 3:7 (89th) He is the one who sent down upon you the book; of it are muhkamat verses. They are the mother of the book and others are mutashabihat. As for those in whose hearts is aberration, they follow what he copied from it, seeking fitnah and seeking its interpretation. And none knows its interpretation but Allah. And the firm in knowledge say: We have believed in it. All is from our lord. And none remembers except the possessors of albab.
Only Allah knows the interpretation of the 'generous messenger's book.
S 18:78 (69th) He said: This is a parting between me and you. I shall inform you of an interpretation of what you were not able to have patience for.
S 18:82 And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city and a treasure for them was under it and their father was righteous. So your lord wanted them to reach their maturity and to take their treasure out as a mercy from your lord. And I did not do it on my command. That is an interpretation of what you were not able to have patience for.
S 4:59 (92nd) Those who have believed, obey Allah and obey the messenger and those in command among you. Then if you dispute concerning something send it back to Allah and the messenger if you are believing in Allah and the last day. That is better and more seemly for interpretation.
Is Allah with its 'messenger' among the Ummah? Would Allah be 'interpreting' disputes?
