S 2:279 But if you have not done then be apprised of war from Allah and his messenger. And if you repent you have heads of your money. You do not wrong and are not wronged.
S 3:32 Say: Obey Allah and the messenger. Then if they turn away then Allah does not love the kafirun.
S 3:172 Those who have responded to Lah and the messenger after the ulcer has afflicted them, for those who have acted good among them and have feared there is a great wage.
S 3:179 Allah would not leave the believers on what you are on until he might distinguish the bad one from the good. And Allah would not apprise you of the ghayb but Allah chooses from his messengers whom he wills, so believe in Allah and his messengers, and if you believe and fear, you have a great wage.
Chooses from existing messengers for what purpose? To be messengers? And the messengers have to be believed in along with Allah?
S 4:13 Those are Allah’s hudud and he who obeys Allah and his messenger, he admits him to jannat, rivers running beneath them, abiding therein indefinitely. And that is the great success.
S 4:14 And he who disobeys Allah and his messenger and transgresses his hudud--he admits him to the fire, abiding indefinitely therein. And his is base torture.
Whose is his hudud and who admits to the fire?
S 4:59 Those who have believed, obey Allah and obey the messenger and those in command among you. Then if you dispute concerning something send it back to Allah and the messenger if you are believing in Allah and the last day. That is better and more seemly for interpretation.
Is Allah on Earth with its boss?
S 4:64 And we did not send any messenger except to be obeyed with Allah’s permission. And had they when they had wronged themselves come to you and asked Allah for forgiveness and the messenger had asked for forgiveness for them they would have found Allah a repenter, merciful.
This suggests that the Muslim would have to go to Allah's boss in order to be forgiven.
And is this not a form of intercession? But we are told that Allah is the ONLY intercessor. See my post, Allah the ONLY Intercessor and Protector and the Answering Islam article, Whom does he talk to? : The Affect Allah’s Intercession has on Divine Unity
Regarding intercession, the reader may also see my post, Quran's Intercession
S 4:69 And those who obey Allah and the messenger, then those are with those whom Allah has graced of the prophets and the truthful and the martyrs and the righteous. And good was those as a fellow.
S 4:80 He who obeys the messenger has obeyed Allah and he who has turned away--we have not sent you as a keeper over them.
S 4:100 And he who emigrates in the way of Allah finds in the land many places of refuge and capacity. And he who leaves his house as an emigrant to Allah and his messenger then death overtakes him then his wage was incumbent on Allah. And Allah was a forgiver, merciful.
How might one be an emigrant to a deity or to a man? If this is about emigrating to a country, do Allah and its messenger live in that country?
S 4:136 Those who have believed, believe in Allah and his messenger and the book that he sent down upon his messenger and the Book that he sent down before. And he who disbelieves in Allah and his angels and his books and his messengers and the last day, he has strayed far.
S 4:150 Those who disbelieve in Allah and his messengers and want to differentiate between Allah and his messengers and they say: We believe in some and disbelieve in others. And they want to take a way between that.
S 4:152 And those who have believed in Allah and his messengers and have not differentiated between any of them, those--he will give them their wages. And Allah was a forgiver, merciful.
Should the Muslim not differentiate between their 'god' and its messengers?
S 4:171 People of the Book, do not exceed in your religion nor say about Allah but the truth. The Messiah Isa the son of Maryam is only a messenger of Allah’s and his word which he threw to Maryam and spirit from him. So believe in Allah and his messengers and do not say Three. Cease; it is better for you. Allah is only one god. Praise be to him that he should have a child! His is what is in the skies and what is on the Earth. And Allah was sufficient as an agent.
S 5:33 The recompense of those who war against Allah and his messenger and chase corruption in the land is only that they be massacred or crucified or have their hands and their feet cut off on opposite sides or be exiled from the land. That for them is disgrace in the dunya and theirs in the hereafter is great torture.
We are told that Muslims were asked for a loan. But can we expect Allah to enjoy this loan? Who could benefit from it? See my post, Buddy, Can You Spare a Dime?
A fifth or 20 % of the booty would go to Allah and its boss. But what benefit might Allah derive from booty? Who would enjoy it?
S 8:1 They ask you about the spoils. Say: The spoils are Lah’s and the messenger’s. So fear Allah and reform your disagreement and obey Allah and his messenger if you are believers.
S 8:41 And know that what you have plundered of a thing, that Lah’s is a fifth of it and the messenger’s and the relatives’ and the orphans’ and the needy ones’ and the traveller’s, if you believe in Allah and what we sent down upon our slave on the day of the Furqan, a day the two crowds met. And Allah is mighty over everything.
S 9:1 Absolution from Allah and his messenger to those who have made a treaty with the mushrikun.
Absolution from Allah AND its messenger.
S 9:3 An announcement from Allah and his messenger to people on the day of the greater Hajj that Allah is free from the mushrikun, and his messenger. So if you repent he is better for you. But if you turn away then know that you cannot escape Allah. And give good news to those who have disbelieved of painful torture.
S 9:7 How can there be a treaty with Allah and with his messenger for the mushrikun except those whom you have made a treaty at the Sacred Mosque? So what they have been straight for you so you be straight for them. Allah loves the fearers.
S 9:16 Or did you think that you would be left when Allah did not know those who waged jihad among you and they did not take a confidant instead of Allah and his messenger and the believers? And Allah is an expert in what you do.
S 9:24 Say: If your fathers and your sons and your brothers and your husbands and your clan and monies you have committed and trade you fear a slump therein and dwellings you have taken pleasure in are more beloved to you than Allah and his messenger and jihad in his way, then lie in wait until Allah brings his command. And Allah does not guide the fasiq people.
S 9:29 Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the last day and do not forbid what Allah and his messenger have forbidden and do not submit to the religion of truth of those who were given the Book until they give the jizyah from subjection while they are abased.
For jizyah, see: Ibn Al Kathir commentary for verses 9.28-29
S 9:54 And nothing prevented them that their expenses be accepted from them except that they disbelieved in Allah and in his messenger and they do not come to the salat except while they are lazy and they do not spend except while they are unwilling.
S 9:59 And had they been pleased with what Allah and his messenger had given them and said: Our sufficiency is Allah. Allah will give us from his favour, and his messenger. We are seekers to Allah.
S 9:62 They swear by Allah to you to please you. And Allah and his messenger have more right that they should please him if they are believers.
Who is him here? A Freudian slip?
S 9:63 Have they not known that he who opposes Allah and his messenger, that his is the fire of Jahannam, abiding therein indefinitely? That is the great disgrace.
S 9:65 And if you asked them they would say: We were only wading and playing. Say: Is it Allah and his verses and his messenger you were mocking?
S 9:71 And the believing men and the believing women, protectors of one another. They command kindness and forbid baseness and perform the salat and give the zakat and obey Allah and his messenger. Those, Allah will have mercy on them. Allah is mighty, wise.
S 9:74 They swear by Allah they did not say and they said the word of kufr and disbelieved after their Islam and disquietened what they did not get. And they did not take vengeance except that Allah and his messenger had enriched them from his favour. So if they repent, it will be better for them and if they turn away, Allah will torture them with a painful torture in the dunya and the hereafter. And they have no protector or helper in the land.
Allah AND its messenger had enriched them from his favour? If his refers to Allah, how might its messenger have enriched them from the former's favour?
S 9:80 Ask forgiveness for them or do not ask forgiveness for them. If you ask forgiveness for them 70 times, Allah will not forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in Allah and his messenger and Allah does not guide the fasiq people.
S 9:84 And never pray for any of them who has died nor stand at his grave. They disbelieved in Allah and his messenger and died while they were fasiqun.
S 9:86 And when a surah has been sent down: Believe in Allah and wage jihad with his messenger, the possessors of merit among them have asked you for permission and said: Leave us to be with those sitting.
S 9:90 And those excusing themselves of the Bedouins came that permission might be given to them and sat, those who lied to Allah and his messenger. He will strike those who have disbelieved among them with painful torture.
S 9:91 There is no difficulty on the weak or on the sick or on those who do not find what they spend if they have given sincere advice to Lah and his messenger. There is no way upon the good-doers. And Allah is a forgiver, merciful.
Allah receives/ed advice?
S 9:94 They excuse themselves to you when you have returned to them. Say: Do not excuse yourselves. We shall not believe you. Allah has informed us of your news and Allah will see your deed, and his messenger. Then you are returned to the knower of the ghayb and the testimony then he informs you of what you used to do.
S 9:105 And say: Do, then Allah will see your deed, and his messenger and the believers. And you will be returned to the knower of the ghayb and the testimony then he will inform you of what you used to do.
S 9:107 And those who have taken a mosque for harm and kufr and separation among the believers and as a station for him who has warred against Allah and his messenger before. And they shall swear: We have wanted nothing but goodness. And Allah bears witness: They are lying.
So what are they, allies?
S 24:47 And they say: We have believed in Allah and in the messenger and we have obeyed. Then a party of them turns away after that. And those are not the believers.
S 24:48 And when they have been called to Allah and his messenger that he may judge between them, behold, a party of them are averse.
S 24:51 The speech of the believers was only when they were called to Allah and his messenger to judge between them for them to say: We have heard and obeyed. And those, they are the successful.
"to judge" uses the verb in the singular.
S 24:52 And he who obeys Allah and his messenger and fears Allah and is fearing of him, those are the successful.
S 24:54 Say: Obey Allah and obey the messenger but if you turn away then only what he was he has been caused to carry is upon him and what you have been caused to carry upon you. And if you obey him you will be guided. And nothing is upon the messenger but the clear notice.
S 24:62 The believers are only those who have believed in Allah and his messenger, and when they were with him for a general matter, they did not go until they ask for his permission. Those who ask for your permission, those are the ones who believe in Allah and his messenger. So when they have asked for your permission for some concern of theirs, give permission to whom you have willed of them and ask Allah for forgiveness for them. Allah is a forgiver, merciful.
S 33:12 And when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is disease say: Allah and his messenger have not promised us but delusion.
S 33:22 And when the believers saw the parties they said: This is what Allah and his messenger promised us and Allah and his messenger have told the truth. And it did not increase them but in faith and submission.
S 33:29 And if you are wanting Allah and his messenger and the hereafter home then Allah has prepared for the good-doers among you a great wage.
S 33:31 And the one among you who is devout towards Lah and his messenger and does a righteous deed, we give her her wage twice and we have prepared for her a generous provision.
S 33:33 And stay in your houses and do not dress up as the dressing up of the first jahiliyyah. And perform salat and give the zakat and obey Allah and his messenger. Allah only wants to remove rijs from you, household, and to purify you with purification.
S 33:36 And it was not for a believing man or a believing woman when Allah and his messenger had decided on a matter that they should have a choice in their matter. And he who disobeys Allah and his messenger has clearly strayed.
Allah AND its messenger decide/d on a matter?
S 33:57 Those who harm Allah and his messenger, Allah has cursed them in the dunya and the hereafter and he has prepared for them base torture.
S 33:66 On a day their faces are turned in the fire they say: Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the messenger!
S 33:71 He corrects your deeds for you and forgives you your sins. And he who obeys Allah and his messenger has won a great win.
S 47:33 Those who have believed, obey Allah and obey the messenger and do not invalidate your deeds.
S 48:9 That you may believe in Allah and his messenger and assist him and respect him and glorify him in the morning and the late afternoon.
S 48:13 And he who has not believed in Allah and his messenger, we have prepared for the kafirun a blaze.
A man who does not 'believe' in the messenger is a kafir?
S 48:17 There is no difficulty upon the blind man nor difficulty upon the lame nor difficulty upon the sick. And he who obeys Allah and his messenger, he admits him to jannat, rivers running beneath them. But he who turns away, he tortures him with painful torture.
Who admits to jannat? Who tortures him?
S 49:1 Those who have believed, do not precede in front of Allah and his messenger and fear Allah. Allah is a hearer, learned.
How might one precede in front of Allah unless it were on Earth?
S 49:14 The Bedouins have said: We have believed. Say: You have not believed; but say: We have surrendered, and faith has not yet entered into your hearts. But if you obey Allah and his messenger, he does not deprive you of your deeds at all. Allah is a forgiver, merciful.
Who doesn't deprive them of their deeds?
S 49:15 The believers are only those who have believed in Allah and his messenger then have not doubted and have waged jihad with their monies and themselves in the way of Allah. Those--they are the truthful.
S 57:7 Believe in Allah and his messenger and spend of what he has made you mustakhlafun in. So those among you who have believed and spent, theirs is a big wage.
S 57:8 And what is wrong with you, not believing in Allah and his messenger? He calls you to believe in your lord and has taken your covenant, if you are believers.
S 57:19 And those who have believed in Allah and his messengers, those are the truthful and the witnesses before their lord. Theirs is their wage and their light. And those who have disbelieved and have claimed that our verses are a lie, those are the companions of jahim.
Does "our" include the messengers?
S 57:21 Race to forgiveness from your lord and a jannah whose breadth is like the breadth of the sky and the Earth, prepared for those who have believed in Allah and his messengers. That is Allah’s favour. He gives it to whom he wills. And Allah is the possessor of the great favour.
S 57:25 We sent our messengers with the proofs and we sent down with them the book and the balance that people might stand with equity. And we sent down iron wherein is severe horribleness and benefits for people and that Allah might know him who helps him and his messengers in the ghayb. Allah is strong, mighty.
Allah and its messengers, who are helped, are in the ghayb? If Allah's boss is the last messenger, who are and why are there others? Is he too in the ghayb?
S 57:28 Those who have believed, fear Allah and believe in his messenger. He gives you double from his mercy and makes light for you that you walk by and forgives you. And Allah is a forgiver, merciful.
Who gives from his mercy? Who gives light and forgives? If Allah is merciful and forgives, why the final sentence "And Allah is a forgiver, merciful"?
S 58:4 So he who has not found then fasting for two months consecutively before they touch each other. But he who was not able then the feeding of 60 needy men. That, that you may believe in Allah and his messenger and those are Allah’s hudud and for the kafirun there is painful torture.
S 58:5 Those who oppose Allah and his messenger have been suppressed as those before them have been suppressed. And we have sent down clear verses. And for the kafirun there is base torture.
S 58:13 Have you been scared of offering charities in the presence of your confidential talk? Then when you have not done and Allah has repented for you, then perform salat and give the zakat and obey Allah and his messenger. And Allah is an expert in what you do.
S 58:20 Those who prevent Allah and his messenger, those are among the subdued.
S 58:21 Allah has written: I will defeat, I and my messengers. Allah is strong, mighty.
Does Allah need its messengers in order to defeat? Is Allah not sufficient?
S 58:22 You do not find a people believing in Allah and the last day having affection for those who have opposed Allah and his messenger even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their clan. Those--he has written faith in their hearts and supported them with spirit from him. And he admits them to jannat, rivers running beneath them, abiding therein indefinitely. Allah was pleased with them and they were pleased with him. Those are Allah’s party. Indeed, Allah’s party are the successful.
S 59:4 That is because they opposed Allah and his messenger. And he who opposes Allah, Allah is the severe in punishment.
S 59:6 And what Allah gave as booty to his messenger from them you did not agitate for it of horses or a mount but Allah gives power to his messengers over whom he wills. And Allah is mighty over everything.
S 59:7 What Allah has given as booty to his messenger from the people of the villages is for Lah and for his messenger and for the relative and the orphans and the poor and the traveller that it not be a circuit among the rich among you. And what the messenger has given you, take it and what he has forbidden you, desist. And fear Allah. Allah is the severe in punishment.
S 59:8 For the poor of the emigrants who have been expelled from their homes and their monies seeking favour from Allah and pleasure and helping Allah and his messenger. Those are the truthful.
Allah and its messenger need help.
S 61:11 Believing in Allah and his messenger and doing jihad in the way of Allah with your monies and your souls. That is better for you if you knew.
S 63:8 They say: If we return to Al-Madinah the mightier will expel the degraded one from it. And Lah’s is the honour and his messenger’s and the believers’ but the hypocrites do not know.
S 64:8 So believe in Allah and his messenger and the light that we have sent down. And Allah is an expert in what you do.
S 64:12 And obey Allah and obey the messenger. But if you turn away then only the clear notice is on our messenger.
S 72:23 Except a notice from Allah and his messages. And he who disobeys Allah and his messenger then his is the fire of Jahannam, abiding therein forever.
