Properly speaking, the term 'those your right hand possesses' refers to those enslaved following capture in or after battle.
S 4:3 And if you fear not being equitable to the orphans then futter what was agreeable to you of the women--two and three and four. But if you fear not acting justly then one or what your right hands have possessed. That is more appropriate that you may not oppress.
S 4:24 And the muhsanat of the women except what your right hands have possessed, a book of Allah upon you. And made lawful for you is what is beyond that, that you seek with your money, being fortified, not musafihun. So what you have enjoyed of it from them, give them their wages as an obligation. And there is no transgression on you concerning what you have agreed upon after the obligation. Allah was learned, wise.
S 4:25 And he among you who could not afford to futter the muhsanat, the believers, then what your right hands have possessed of your maids, the believers. And Allah knows your faith. You are of one another. So futter them with the permission of their family and give them their wages with kindness. Muhsanat, not musafihat nor takers of paramours. Then when they have been fortified and if they commit fahishah, then upon them is half of what is upon the muhsanat of torture. That is for him among you who has feared sin, and that you be patient is better for you. And Allah is a forgiver, merciful.
S 4:36 And worship Allah and do not associate with him at all. And doing good to parents and to relatives and orphans and the needy and the near neighbour and the distant neighbour and the companion at your side and the traveller and what your right hands have possessed. Allah does not love him who was self-conceited, proud.
S 16:71 And Allah has preferred some of you to others in the provision. But those who were preferred are not going to hand over their provision to what their right hands have possessed so that are equal therein. So do they reject Allah’s grace?
S 23:6 Except from their husbands or what their right hands have possessed and they are not blamable.
S 24:31 And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and to guard their privates and not to display their adornment except what is visible of it. And let them draw their khumur over their bosoms and not display their adornment except to their husbands or their fathers or their husbands’ fathers or their sons or their husbands’ sons or their brothers or their brothers’ sons or their sisters’ sons or their women or what their right hands have possessed or the attendants possessing no physical desire among the men or the children who have not become manifest upon the awrat of women. And let them not strike with their feet that one may know what they conceal of their adornment. And repent to Allah together, believers; perhaps you will succeed.
S 24:33 And let those who do not find nikah refrain until Allah enriches them from his favour. And those who seek the contract of those whom their right hands have possessed, give them the contract if you know good in them and give them from Allah’s money which he has given you. And do not compel your maids to prostitution if they want fortification, that you may seek goods of the dunya life. And he who compels them, Allah after their compulsion is a forgiver, merciful.
S 24:58 Those who have believed, let those whom your right hands have possessed and those who have not reached sexual maturity among you ask you for permission at three times: before the fajr prayer and when you take off your clothes at noon and after the isha’ prayer. Three awrat for you. There is no misdemeanour upon you nor upon them after them, going about among you, some of you among others. Thus Allah clarifies the verses for you. And Allah is learned, wise.
S 30:28 He has given you an example from yourselves. Do you have of what your right hands have possessed any partners in what we have provided you with, so you are equal therein, fearing them as you fear yourselves? Thus do we detail the verses for people who comprehend.
S 33:50 Prophet, we have made lawful for you your husbands whom you have given their wages to and what your right hand possesses from what Allah has given you as booty and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who emigrated with you and a believing woman who has given herself to the prophet if the prophet wants to futter her--exclusively for you, excluding the believers. We knew what we made obligatory upon them concerning their husbands and what their right hands have possessed, that there should be no difficulty upon you. And Allah was a forgiver, merciful.
S 33:52 Women are not lawful to you after nor to exchange them for husbands even if their comeliness has appealed to you, except what your right hand has possessed. And Allah was a watchman over everything.
S 33:55 There is no misdemeanour upon them concerning their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their brothers’ sons or their sisters’ sons or their women or what their right hands have possessed. And fear Allah. Allah was a witness over everything.
S 70:30 Except from their husbands and what their right hands have possessed. Then they are not blameworthy.
