And he went down into her grave and made daily in the sides of the grave as if expanding and smoothing it, and he came out of her grave with his eyes shedding tears, urging in her grave and when he went, Umar bin al-Khattab said to him: Messenger of Allah, I saw you doing to this woman something that no-one has done! And he said: Umar, this woman was my mother after my mother who bore me, that Abu Talib used to do the work and have a junket for it and used to gather us for his food, and this woman used to prefer all of it to a share so I am returning it, and Jibril has told me from my lord that she is of the people of the Jannah, and Jibril has told me that Allah Ta'ala has commanded 70,000 of the angels to pray over her.--Al-Mustadrak Al-Hakim 3/108

37611--From Ibn Abbas: When Fatima, the mother of Ali, died the messenger of Allah (SAW) took off his shirt and dressed her in it and lay in her grave, then when he had smoothed the dust over her some of them said: Messenger of Allah, did we see you do something that has been done by no-one? He said: I have given her my shirt to wear of the garments of the Jannah and have lain with her to relieve her of the pressure of the grave; she was the best of Allah's creation in doing up to after Abu Talib.--Abu Na'im in Al-Ma'rifah and Al-Daylani, and its chain is Hasan.
