Allah is called 'the rich' in some eight verses.

S 6:133 And your lord is the rich, the possessor of mercy. If he willed he would do away with you and appoint as successors after you what he wills as he constructed you from the offspring of other people.

S 10:68  They have said: Allah has taken a child. Praise be to him! He is the rich. His is what is in the skies and what is on the Earth. You have no authority in this. Do you say about Allah what you do not know?

S 22:64 His is what is in the skies and what is on the Earth. And Allah, he is the rich, the praiseworthy.

S 31:26  Lah’s is what is in the skies and the Earth. Allah is the rich, the praiseworthy.

S 35:15 People, you are the poor to Allah and Allah, he is the rich, the praiseworthy.

If people are poor to it, why was it asking for a loan? Allah's rich so why did it even need a loan?

S 47:38 Here you are, these, called to spend in the way of Allah but among you is he who withholds and he who withholds, he only withholds from himself. And Allah is the rich and you are the poor. And if you turn away he will replace with a people other than you. Then there will not be the likes of you.

S 57:24  Those who are stingy and command people stinginess. And he who turns away then Allah is the rich, the praiseworthy.

S 60:6 You had in them a good model for him who was hoping in Allah and the last day. And he who turns away, then Allah is the rich, the praiseworthy.
