S 21:33 And he is the one who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon. All swim in an orbit.

Sun and moon are physical things; night and day are not. They all 'swim' in an orbit. The word translated 'orbit' is falak. With different vocalisation, fulk, a ship.

S 36:40 The sun, it is not appropriate for it to overtake the moon nor is the night the preceder of the day and all swim in an orbit.

Sun, moon, night and day 'swim' in an orbit, or ship.
