Things Sent Down

We sent down:

S 2:57 And we shaded the clouds over you and we sent down the manna and the quail upon you. Eat of good things what we have provided you. And they did not wrong us but they were wronging themselves.

S 2:59 But those who wronged changed speech other than that which was said to them. So we sent down upon those who wronged rijz from the sky because they were acting immorally.

S 2:99 And we sent down to you clear verses and none disbelieves in them but the fasiqun.

S 2:159 Those who conceal what we have sent down of the proofs and the guidance after what we made clear to people in the book--those, Allah curses them and the cursers curse them.

S 4:105 We have sent down to you the book with truth that you may judge between people with what Allah has shown you. And do not be an opponent for the traitors.

S 4:174 People, proof has come to you from your lord and we have sent down to you a clear light.

S 5:44 We sent down the Torah; therein is guidance and light. The prophets, those who have surrendered for those who were Jewish, judge by it, and the rabbaniyun and the rabbis what they were entrusted with of Allah’s Book and they were witnesses over it. So do not fear people but fear me. And do not buy my verses at a low price. And those who have not judged by what Allah has sent down--those are the kafirun.

S 5:48 And we have sent down to you the book with truth, confirming what is in front of him of the Book and governing over it. So judge between them by what Allah has sent down and do not follow their desires when some of the truth has come to you. For all of you have we made a bill and a curriculum. And had Allah willed he would have made you one nation but to test you in what he has given you. So race to goods. To Allah is all your return then he informs you of what you used to differ in.

S 6:92 And this is a book; we have sent it down, blessed, confirming that which is in front of it and that you may warn the mother of the villages and those who are around it. And those who believe in the hereafter believe in it and they are guarding over their salat.

S 6:155 And this is a book--we have sent it down, blessed, so follow it and fear; perhaps you will be shown mercy.

S 7:26 Banu Adam, we have sent down upon you clothing. It covers your pudenda and feathering. And the clothing of taqwa, that is best. That is of Allah's signs. Perhaps they will remember.

S 7:57 And he is the one who sends the winds as good news in front of his mercy until when they have carried a heavy cloud. We drove it to a dead country then we sent down with it water and we brought out with it all fruits. Thus we bring out the dead; perhaps you will remember.

S 7:160 And we cut them into 12 tribes, nations. And we inspired Musa when his people asked him for a drink: Strike the stone with your staff. Then 12 springs spouted from it. All people knew their drinking place. And we shaded the clouds over them and sent down the manna and the quail upon them. Eat of good things what we have provided you. And they did not wrong us but they were wronging themselves.

S 8:41 And know that what you have plundered of a thing, that Lah’s is a fifth of it and the messenger’s and the relatives’ and the orphans’ and the needy ones’ and the traveller’s, if you believe in Allah and what we sent down upon our slave on the day of the Furqan, a day the two crowds met. And Allah is almighty.

S 10:24 The similitude of the dunya life is only like water that we have sent down from the sky, so the vegetation of the Earth has been mixed with it from what people and cattle eat until when the Earth has taken its gold and has been adorned and its people have thought that they have power over it, our command has come to it by night or by day and we have made it a crop as though it had not availed yesterday. Thus do we detail the verses for people who ponder.

S 10:94 And if you are in doubt as to what we have sent down to you, ask those who have been reading the Book before you. The truth has come to you from your lord so do not be of the doubters.

S 12:2 We have sent it down as an Arabic quran; perhaps you will comprehend.

S 13:37 And thus have we sent it down as an Arabic precept. And if you follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you have no protector or preserver against Allah.

S 14:1 Alif lam ra. A book we have sent down to you that you may bring out people from the darknesses into the light, with their lord’s permission, to the path of the mighty, the praiseworthy,

S 15:22 And we have sent the winds as fertilisers and we have sent down water from the sky and we have given you it to drink. And you are not storers for it.

S 15:90 As we have sent down upon the dividers,

S 16:44 With the proofs and the Zubur. And we sent down to you the Dhikr to make clear for people what has been sent down to them and perhaps they will ponder.

S 16:64 And we did not send down upon you the book except that you may make clear to them that which they have differed about and as guidance and mercy for a people who believe.

S 17:105 And we sent it down with the truth and it came down with the truth. And we did not send you except as a bearer of good news and as a nadhir.

S 18:45 And coin for them the similitude of the dunya life. Like water that we have sent down from the sky then the vegetation of the Earth was mingled with it then it became chaff which the winds scatter. And Allah was capable over everything.

S 20:2 We have not sent down upon you the Quran for you to be wretched

S 20:113 And thus have we sent it down as an Arabic quran and explained in it of the threatening; perhaps they will fear or it will produce a remembrance for them.

S 21:10 We have sent down to you a book wherein is your remembrance. So do you not comprehend?

S 21:50 And this is a blessed dhikr which we have sent down. So are you deniers of it?

S 22:5 People, if you are in doubt about the resurrection, we have created you from dust then from a drop then from a blood clot then from a gobbet, formed and unformed, that we may make clear for you. And we settle in the wombs what we will for a designated term then we bring you out as a child then that you may reach your maturity. And among you is he who is caused to die and among you is he who is returned to the lowest age so that he does not know anything after knowledge. And you see the Earth hamidah and when we have sent down water upon it it moves and increases and grows every joyous kind.

S 22:16 And thus have we sent it down as clear verses and that Allah guides whom he wants.

S 23:18 And we sent down water from the sky in quantity then settled it in the Earth. And we are able to take it away.

S 24:1 A surah. We have sent it down and we have made it obligatory and we have sent down therein clear verses; perhaps you will remember.

S 24:34 And we have sent down to you verses making clear and a similitude of those who passed away before you and an exhortation for the fearers.

S 24:46 We have sent down clear verses. And Allah guides whom he wills to a straight path.

S 25:48 And he is the one who has sent the winds as good news in front of his mercy and we have sent down from the sky pure water

S 29:47 And thus have we sent down to you the book. So those whom we gave the Book to believe in it. And among these is he who believes in it. And none rejects our verses but the kafirun.

S 29:51 Has it not sufficed them that we have sent down upon you the book read to them? In that there is mercy and remembrance for a believing people.

S 31:10 He created the skies without columns that you see and threw into the Earth stabilisers lest it shake with you. And he dispersed thereon of every beast. And we sent down water from the sky. Then we caused to grow thereon of every noble pair.

S 38:29 A book. We have sent it down to you blessed that they may ponder its verses and that the possessors of albab may remember.

S 39:2 We have sent down to you the book with truth so worship Allah, sincerely towards him in religion.

S 39:41 We have sent down the book upon you for people in truth. So he who has been guided, it is for his soul and he who has strayed, he only strays against it. And you are not an agent over them.

S 41:39 And of his signs are that you see the Earth humble but when we have sent down water upon it it has trembled and increased. The one who has vivified it is the vivifier of the dead. He is almighty.

S 44:3 We sent it down on a blessed night. We were warners.

S 57:25 We sent our messengers with the proofs and we sent down with them the book and the balance that people might stand with equity. And we sent down iron wherein is severe horribleness and benefits for people and that Allah might know him who helps him and his messengers in the ghayb. Allah is strong, mighty.

S 58:5 Those who oppose Allah and his messenger have been suppressed as those before them have been suppressed. And we have sent down clear verses. And for the kafirun there is base torture.

S 59:21 Had we sent down this quran on a mountain you would have seen it devout, cracked from fear of Allah. And those examples we give to people; perhaps they will reflect.

S 64:8 So believe in Allah and his messenger and the light that we have sent down. And Allah is an expert in what you do.

S 78:14 And we sent down thajjaj water from the mu’sirat

S 97:1 We sent it down on the Night of Qadr.

S 2:4 And those who believe in what has been sent down to you and what was sent down before you and in the hereafter do they believe.

S 2:22 The one who made the Earth a bed for you and the sky a building and sent down water from the sky and brought out therewith a provision from the fruits for you. So do not make peers for Lah when you know.

S 2:23 And if you are in doubt about what we have sent down upon our slave then bring a surah of the like of it and invoke your witnesses instead of Allah if you are truthful.

S 2:41 And believe in what I have sent down confirming what is with you and do not be the first kafir of it. And do not buy my verses at a low price and me then you fear.

S 2:90 Miserable was what they bought themselves with, to disbelieve in what Allah sent down, in oppression that Allah sends down from his favour upon whom he wills of his slaves. So they have come back with anger upon anger. And the kafirun have base torture.

S 2:91 And when it was said to them: Believe in what Allah has sent down, they said: We believe in what was sent down upon us. And they disbelieve in what is behind it, when it is the truth confirming what they have. Say: So why do you kill Allah’s prophets before, if you are believers?

S 2:97 Say: He who was an enemy to Jibril, he sent it down upon your heart with Allah’s permission, confirming what is in front of it and as guidance and good news for the believers.

S 2:136 Say: We have believed in Allah and what has been sent down to us and what was sent down to Ibrahim and Isma’il and Ishaq and Ya’qub and the tribes and what was given to Musa and Isa and what was given to the prophets from their lord. We do not distinguish between any of them. And we are Muslims to him.

S 2:164 In the creation of the skies and the Earth and the difference of night and day and the ships which run in the sea with what benefits people and what Allah has sent down from the sky of water and has vivified the Earth therewith after its death and has spread thereon of every beast and the change of winds and the clouds subjected between the sky and the Earth are signs for people who comprehend.

S 2:170 And when it was said to them: Follow what Allah has sent down, they said: Rather, we follow what we found our fathers on. Even though their fathers did not comprehend anything nor were guided?

S 2:174 Those who conceal what Allah has sent down of the book and buy therewith at a low price--those do not eat in their bellies except the fire. And Allah does not speak to them on the day of resurrection nor purify them, and theirs is painful torture.

S 2:185 The month of Ramadan wherein the Quran was sent down, a guidance for people and proofs of the guidance and the Furqan. So he among you who has witnessed the month, let him fast on it, and he who was ill or on a journey, then an ‘iddah of other days. Allah wants ease for you and does not want hardship for you, and that you complete the ‘iddah and magnify Allah for what he has guided you; and perhaps you will thank.

S 2:213 People were one nation then Allah raised the prophets as bearers of good news and as warners and sent down with them the book with the truth to judge between people in what they had differed concerning. And none differed in it except those who had been given it after what the proofs had come to them out of wrong between them. And Allah guided those who had believed in what they had differed in of the truth with his permission. And Allah guides whom he wills to a straight path.

S 2:231 And when you have divorced the women and they have reached their term, hold them with kindness or dismiss them with kindness. And do not hold them in harm to transgress. And he who does that has wronged himself. And do not take Allah’s verses as a quip, and remember Allah’s grace upon you and what he has sent down upon you of the book and the wisdom. He advises you therewith. And fear Allah and know that Allah is learned in everything.

S 2:285 The messenger has believed in what has been sent down to him from his lord, and the believers. All have believed in Allah and his angels and his books and his messengers. We do not distinguish between any of his messengers. And they have said: We have heard and obeyed. Your forgiveness, our lord, and to you is the destiny.

S 3:3 He has sent down upon you the book in truth confirming what is in front of him and he sent down the Torah and the Injil

S 3:4 Before, guidance for people, and he sent down the Furqan. Those who have disbelieved in Allah’s verses have severe torture. And Allah is mighty, the one of vengeance.

S 3:7 He is the one who sent down upon you the book; of it are muhkamat verses. They are the mother of the book and others are mutashabihat. As for those in whose hearts is aberration, they follow what he copied from it, seeking fitnah and seeking its interpretation. And none knows its interpretation but Allah. And the firm in knowledge say: We have believed in it. All is from our lord. And none remembers except the possessors of albab.

S 3:53 Our lord, we have believed in what you have sent down and we have followed the messenger, so write us with the witnesses.

S 3:65 People of the Book, why do you argue concerning Ibrahim when the Torah and the Injil were not sent down except after him? So do you not comprehend?

S 3:84 Say: We have believed in Allah and what was sent down upon us and what was sent down upon Ibrahim and Isma’il and Ishaq and Ya’qub and the tribes and what was given to Musa and Isa and the prophets from their lord. We do not distinguish between any of them and we are Muslims to him.

S 3:154 Then he sent down upon you after the grief security--drowsiness covering a band of you and a band whose souls distressed them, thinking of Allah other than the truth. The thought of the Jahiliyyah, saying: Do we have anything from the affair? Say: The affair, all of it, is Lah’s. They hide in themselves what they do not reveal to you. They say: If we had something from the affair we would not have been killed here. Say: Had you been in your houses those whom killing was written upon would have gone out to their beds. And that Allah might test what is in your chests and that he might purge what is in your hearts. And Allah is learned in that in the chests.

S 3:199 And among the People of the Book are those who believe in Allah and what has been sent down to you and what has been sent down to them, humble towards Lah. They do not buy Allah’s verses at a low price. Those, for them is their wage with their lord. Allah is the quick in account.

S 4:60 Have you not looked at those who claim that they have believed in what has been sent down to you and what was sent down before you? They want to go to law to al-taghut and they had been commanded to renounce it. And the Devil wants to mislead them far away.

S 4:61 And when it was said to them: Come to what Allah has sent down and to the messenger, you saw the hypocrites turning away from you in disaffection.

S 4:113 And had Allah’s favour not been upon you and his mercy a party of them would have planned to mislead you. But they do not mislead but themselves and they do not harm you at all. And Allah has sent down upon you the book and the wisdom and has taught you what you did not know. And Allah’s favour upon you was great.

S 4:136 Those who have believed, believe in Allah and his messenger and the book that he sent down upon his messenger and the Book that he sent down before. And he who disbelieves in Allah and his angels and his books and his messengers and the last day, he has strayed far.

S 4:162 But the firm in knowledge among them and the believers believe in what has been sent down to you and what was sent down before you. And those who perform the salat and those who give the zakat and the believers in Allah and the last day, those, we shall give them a great wage.

S 4:166 But Allah bears witness to what he has sent down to you. He has sent it down with his knowledge and the angels bear witness. And Allah was sufficient as a witness.

S 5:45 And we wrote for them therein: The soul for the soul and the eye for the eye and the nose for the nose and the ear for the ear and the tooth for the tooth and the wounds for the wounds as retaliation. But he who has given charity therewith then it is atonement for it. And those who have not judged by what Allah has sent down then those are the wrongdoers.

S 5:47 And let the People of the Injil judge by what Allah has sent down therein. And those who have not judged by what Allah has sent down then those are the fasiqun.

S 5:48 And we have sent down to you the book with truth, confirming what is in front of him of the Book and governing over it. So judge between them by what Allah has sent down and do not follow their desires when some of the truth has come to you. For all of you have we made a bill and a curriculum. And had Allah willed he would have made you one nation but to test you in what he has given you. So race to goods. To Allah is all your return then he informs you of what you used to differ in.

S 5:49 And judge among them by what Allah has sent down and do not follow their desires and watch out for them lest they tempt you from some of what Allah has sent down to you. And if they turn away, know that Allah only wants to afflict them for some of their sins. And many of the people are fasiqun.

S 5:59 Say: People of the Book, do you venge us except that we have believed in Allah and what has been sent down to us and what was sent down before and that most of you are fasiqun?

S 5:64 And the Jews have said: Allah’s hand is manacled. Their hands have been manacled and they have been cursed for what they have said. Rather, his hands are outstretched. He spends how he wills. And he shall increase many of them, what has been sent down to you from your lord, in despotism and kufr. And we have thrown enmity and hatred among them to the day of resurrection. Every time they have kindled a fire for war Allah has put it out. And they chase corruption in the land. And Allah does not love the corrupters.

S 5:66 And had they established the Torah and the Injil and what has been sent down to them from their lord, they would have eaten above them and below their feet. Among them is a frugal nation and many of them--evil is what they do.

S 5:67 Messenger, send what has been sent down to you from your lord and if you have not done so then you have not sent his message. And Allah protects you from people. Allah does not guide the kafirun people.

S 5:68 Say: People of the Book, you are on nothing until you establish the Torah and the Injil and what has been sent down to you from your lord. And increases many of them, what has been sent down to you from your lord, in tyranny and kufr. So do not grieve over the kafirun people.

S 5:81 And were they believing in Allah and the prophet and what was sent down to him they would not have taken them as protectors but many of them are fasiqun.

S 5:83 And when they have heard what has been sent down to the messenger you see their eyes overflowing with tears from what they have recognised of the truth. They say: Our lord, we have believed so write us with the witnesses.

S 5:104 And when it was said to them: Come to what Allah has sent down and to the messenger, they said: Our sufficiency is what we found our fathers on. Even though their fathers were not knowing anything or guided.

S 5:114-115 Isa son of Maryam said: Allahumma our lord, send down upon us a table from the sky being for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from you. And provide us, and you are the best of providers. Allah said: I am sending it down upon you so he who disbelieves after among you I torture him whom I do not torture anyone of the ‘alimin.**

S 6:91 And they have not estimated Allah with his true estimation when they have said: Allah has not sent down anything upon a human being. Say: Who sent down the Book which Musa brought, light and guidance for people? You make it qaratis; you reveal it and you conceal much. And you were taught what you did not know, you nor your fathers. Say: Allah. Then leave them playing in their involvement.

S 6:99 And he is the one who has sent down water from the sky then we have brought out with it vegetation of everything. Then we have brought out from it greensward, we bring out from it grain, amassed. And from the date palm, from its pollen clusters hanging low. And jannat of grapes and the olives and the pomegranates resembling and not resembling. Look at its fruit when it has borne fruit and its ripening. In that there are signs for people who believe.

S 6:114 So is it other than Allah I seek as a judge when he is the one who has sent down to you the detailed book? And those whom we gave the Book to know that it is sent down from your lord with truth, so do not be of the doubters.

S 7:2 A book that has been sent down to you so let there be no perplexity in your chest from it that you may warn therewith and as a remembrance for the believers.

S 7:3 Follow what has been sent down to you from your lord and do not follow protectors instead of him. Little is what you remember.

S 7:157 Those who follow the messenger, the ummi prophet, whom they find written with them in the Torah and the Injil. He commands them kindnessand forbids them baseness and declares lawful for them the good things and declares unlawful for them the bad and lays their burden from them and the shackles that were on them. So those who have believed in him and aided him and helped him and followed the light that was sent down with him, those are the successful.

S 9:26 Then Allah sent down his shekhinah upon his messenger and upon the believers and sent down troops you did not see and tortured those who had disbelieved. And that is the recompense of the kafirun.

The Shekhinah in the Quran

S 9:40 Except you help him. And Allah helped him when those who had disbelieved expelled him the second of two when they two are in the cave when he says to his companion: Do not grieve. Allah is with us. And Allah sent down his shekhinah upon him and supported him with troops you did not see and made the word of those who had disbelieved the lowest and the word of Allah, it is the highest. And Allah is mighty, wise.

S 9:86 And when a surah has been sent down: Believe in Allah and wage jihad with his messenger, the possessors of merit among them have asked you for permission and said: Leave us to be with those sitting.

S 9:97 The Bedouins are severer in kufr and hypocrisy and worthier not to know hudud of what Allah has sent down upon his messenger. And Allah is learned, wise.

S 9:124 And whenever a surah has been sent down, among them is he who says: Which of you has this increased in faith? So as for those who have believed, it has increased them in faith and they rejoice.

S 9:127 And in case a surah has been sent down they have looked at one another: Does anyone see you? Then they have gone away. Allah has turned their hearts away because they are a people that do not understand.**

S 10:59 Say: Have you seen what Allah has sent down to you of provision and you have made of it haram and halal? Say: Has Allah permitted you or do you fabricate concerning Allah?

S 11:14 Then if they do not respond to you then know that it has been sent down with Allah’s knowledge and that there is no god but him. So are you Muslims?

S 13:1 Alif lam mim ra. Those are the signs of the book. And that which has been sent down to you from your lord is the truth but most people do not believe.

S 13:17 He has sent down from the sky water and valleys have flown by their quantity and the stream has carried rising foam. And from what they kindle on it in the fire to seek a bijou or pleasure, scum the like of it. Thus does Allah give the truth and the falsehood. And as for the scum, it passes away as dross. And as for what benefits people, it remains in the Earth. Thus does Allah give the similitudes.

S 13:36 And those we gave the Book to rejoice over what has been sent down to you and among the parties is he who denies some of it. Say: I have only been commanded to worship Allah and not to associate with him. To him I call and to him is a repenting.

S 14:32 Allah is the one who created the skies and the Earth and sent down water from the sky then brought out therewith some of the fruits as provision for you and subjected to you the ships that they might run in the sea by his command and subjected to you the rivers

S 16:10 He is the one who has sent down water from the sky for you. Of it is drink. Of it are trees in which you pasture.

S 16:30 And it was said to those who had feared: What did your lord send down? They said: Good. For those who have done good in this dunya there is a good and the home of the hereafter is better. And excellent was the home of the fearers.

S 16:65 And Allah has sent down water from the sky and vivified therewith the Earth after its death. In that there is a sign for people who hear.

S 17:101-102 And we gave Musa nine clear signs so ask the Banu Isra’il when he came to them. Then Fir’awn said to him: I think you, Musa, are bewitched. He said: You have known none has sent these down but the lord of the skies and the Earth as insights. And I think you, Fir’awn, are doomed.

S 18:1 Praise be to Lah who has sent down upon his slave the book and has not made crookedness for it.

S 20:53 The one who made for you the Earth as a bed and inserted for you therein ways and sent down from the sky water then we brought out with it pairs of different vegetation.

S 22:63 Have you not seen that Allah has sent down water from the sky and the Earth grows green? Allah is nice, an expert.

S 23:29 And say: Lord, cause me to descend with a blessed descending and you are the best of descenders.

S 25:6 Say: The one who knows the mystery in the skies and the Earth has sent it down. He was a forgiver, merciful.

S 27:60 Or he who created the skies and the Earth and sent down for you water from the sky? And we caused gardens of exultant joy to grow thereby. It was not for you to cause their trees to grow. Is there a god with Allah? Rather, they are people who place on the same level.

S 28:24 So he watered for them then turned away to the shade and said: Lord, I am poor of what you have sent down to me of good.

S 28:87 And do not let them block you from Allah’s verses after when they have been sent down to you. And call to your lord. And do not be of the mushrikun.

S 29:46 And do not argue with the People of the Book except in that which is best, except those who have wronged among them, and say: We have believed in that which has been sent down to us and sent down to you and our god and your God are one and we are Muslims to him.

S 31:21 And when it was said to them: Follow what Allah has sent down, they said: Rather, we follow what we found our fathers on. Even if the Devil was calling them to the torture of the blaze?

S 33:26 And he sent down those who had aided them of the People of the Book from their strongholds and threw terror into their hearts. A party you kill and a party you capture.

S 34:6 And those who have been given knowledge see that which has been sent down to you from your lord. It is the truth and it guides to the path of the mighty, the praiseworthy.

S 35:27 Have you not seen that Allah has sent down water from the sky then we have brought out therewith fruits of their different colours? And of the mountains there are tracts, white and red of their different colours and jet black, black.

S 39:6 He created you from one soul. Then he made from it its husband. And he sent down for you of the cattle eight pairs. He creates you in the bellies of your mothers, a creation after a creation, in three darknesses. That is Allah your lord. His is the rule. There is no god but him. So how are you turned away?

S 39:21 Have you not seen that Allah has sent down water from the sky and it has acted as springs on the Earth? Then he brings out plantation with it of different colours. Then it withers and you see it yellowing. Then he makes it debris. In that there is remembrance for the possessors of albab.

S 39:55 And follow the best of what has been sent down to you from your lord before the torture comes to you suddenly while you do not perceive.

S 41:14 When the messengers came to them in front of them and behind them: Not to worship but Allah, they said: Had our lord willed he would have sent angels down. So we are kafirun in what you have been sent with.

S 42:15 So to that then call and be straight as you have been commanded and do not follow their desires and say: I have believed in what Allah has sent down of a book and I have been commanded to act justly among you. Allah is our lord and your lord. Ours are our deeds and yours are your deeds. There is no argument between us and you. Allah gathers between us and to him is the destiny.

S 42:17 Allah is the one who has sent down the book with truth and the balance. And what will make you know? Perhaps the Hour is near.

S 45:5 And the difference of night and day and what Allah has sent down from the sky from provision and has vivified therewith the Earth after its death and the exchange of the winds are signs for people who comprehend.

S 46:30 They said: Our people, we have heard a book sent down after Musa confirming what is in front of it, guiding to the truth and to a straight way.

S 47:9 That is because they have hated what Allah has sent down so he has made their deeds worthless.

S 47:20 And those who have believed say: Why has a surah not been sent down? But when a muhkam surah has been sent down and fighting has been mentioned therein you have seen those in whose hearts is disease looking at you--a look of the one swooning over it from death. S 48:4 He is the one who sent down the Shekhinah into the hearts of the believers that they may increase in faith with their faith. And Lah’s are the troops of the skies and the Earth. And Allah was learned, wise

S 53:23 They are nothing but names you have named them, you and your fathers. Allah did not send down any authority for them. They follow nothing but supposition and what their souls have desired. And the guidance has come to them from their lord.

Sends down

S 2:90 Miserable was what they bought themselves with, to disbelieve in what Allah sent down, in oppression that Allah sends down from his favour upon whom he wills of his slaves. So they have come back with anger upon anger. And the kafirun have base torture.

S 16:2 He sends down the angels with the spirit of his command upon whom he wills of his slaves: Warn that there is no god but me so fear.

S 16:101 And when we have changed a verse for a verse, and Allah is a knower of what he sends down, they have said: You are only a fabricator. Rather, most of them do not know.

S 31:34 Allah, with him is the knowledge of the Hour and he sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And a soul does not know what it earns tomorrow nor does a soul know in what land it dies. Allah is learned, an expert.
