S 50:1 Qaf. By the glorious Quran.

S 85:21  Rather, it is a glorious quran,

In the first verse, we are told of "the glorious quran" but in the second of "a glorious quran".

Are we to understand that there is a number of glorious qurans? How many glorious qurans might there be? S 50 is evidently not part of that particular glorious quran. Does "it" in the second verse refer to itself (in which case, why didn't the author say, 'this is a glorious quran'?), or to something else?
