Who or what is Jibril? Is there any verse that identifies him? Could it be that Jibril is actually Allah?

Jib verses that might conceivably be used to show a distinction:

S 2:97 Say: He who was an enemy to Jibril, he sent it down upon your heart with Allah’s permission, confirming what is in front of it and as guidance and good news for the believers.

Some anonymous dude tells another anonymous dude to say what we read above. Now, we find Jib, like Allah, sending quran down, with Allah's permission. Now, there are verses that indicate that Allah receives permission. Now, if it is actually Allah giving itself permission, then may Jibril not also give himself permission?

S 2:98 He who was an enemy to Lah and his angels and his messengers and Jibril and Mikal, Allah is an enemy to the kafirun.

An anonymous dude is making a statement, speaking of Lah and Jib.

S 66:4 If you repent to Allah--your hearts have deviated. And if you back one another up against him then Allah, he is his mawla and Jibril and the righteous of the believers, and the angels after that are an assistant.

An anonymous dude is making a statement, speaking of Allah and Jib.

Besides, if Jib, who 'sends down' quran, is Allah, can't he, the 'best deceiver', 'send down' verses that will con the Muslim into believing that there are two characters?

Where is the verse which has Allah saying: 'I'm Allah, this is Jib'?

In a non-quranic hadith we read of an encounter involving THE throne in the sky.

Yahya reported:

I asked Abu Salama what was revealed first from the Qur'an. He said:" 0, the shrouded one." I said: Or" Recite." Jabir said: I am narrating to you what was narrated to us by the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He said: I stayed in Hira' for one month and when my stay was completed, I come down and went into the heart of the valley. Somebody called me aloud. I looked in front of me, behind me, on the right of my side and on my left, but I did not see any body. I was again called and I looked about but saw nothing. I was called again and raised my head, and there on the Throne in the open atmosphere he, i. e. Gabriel (peace be upon him) was sitting. I began to tremble on account of fear. I came to Khadija and said: Wrap me up. They wrapped me up and threw water on me and Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, sent down this: you who are shrouded! arise and deliver warning, your Lord magnify, your clothes cleanse."

If this is Jibril, what is he doing on the throne? Whose throne is it, if not Allah's?

Allah has, so we are told, 99 'names'. This number is disputed, with its being claimed that the 'names' are unlimited. Might Jibril be one of them?

Now, Muslims will claim that Jibril is an angel, but what verse states that? There is no verse that states that Jib is an angel.

We are told that Al-Abyad, a devil, came in the form of Jibril and gave him the Satanic Verses. Now, he apparently looked like Jib, sounded like Jib and gave him verses that were indistinguishable from quran. Jib himself, so we understand from quran, 'sends it down'.

If it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck, isn't it a duck? If the verses are indistinguishable from quran, isn't what was given quran? And I understand that they were quran for eight years.

In quran we read that 'we', supposedly Allah, sends devils to prophets.

S 6:112 And thus did we make for every prophet an enemy--devils of man and jinn, inspiring one another with the ornament of speech in delusion. But had your lord willed they would not have done it, so leave them and what they fabricate.

If Allah is Jibril, a devil, and sends devils, can he not also make a personal appearance?

How can the Muslim be sure that Al-Abyad, a jinni, wasn't Jibril? How can they be sure that Jibril isn't Allah?

Jibril 'sends down' verses, just like Allah. Allah is supposedly the founder of Islam's lord. But:

Narrated Jundab bin `Abdullah:

Gabriel did not come to the Prophet (for some time) and so one of the Quraish women said, "His Satan has deserted him." So came the Divine Revelation: "By the forenoon And by the night When it is still! Your Lord (O Muhammad) has neither Forsaken you Nor hated you." (93.1-3)
