Have You Not Seen...?

The author used the phrase أَلَمْ تَرَ A-lam tara, directed towards a single person, which we may assume to be towards himself, a number of times, sometimes with the preposition إلى ila.
S 2:243 Have you not looked at those who left their homes while they were thousands who were watching out for death? Then Allah said to them: Die, then he vivified them. Allah is a possessor of favour for people but most people do not thank.
S 2:246 Have you not looked at the chiefs of the Banu Isra’il after Musa, when they said to a prophet of theirs: Raise a king for us that we may fight in the way of Allah? He said: Would you perhaps, if fighting were written upon you, not fight? They said: And what is wrong with us not to fight in the way of Allah while we have been expelled from our homes and our sons? But when fighting was written upon them they turned away except a few of them. And Allah is learned in the wrongdoers.
How might he have looked at people who would have lived thousands of years before him?
S 2:258 Have you not seen the one who argued with Ibrahim concerning his lord because Allah had given him the dominion? When Ibrahim said: My lord is the one who vivifies and puts to death. He said: I vivify and put to death. Ibrahim said: Then Allah brings the sun from the rising place so bring it from the setting place. So the one who had disbelieved was dumbstruck and Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
Now, how might the author have seen someone who had argued with Abraham, who lived millennia before him? There's also a problem with the story. Allah had given him the dominion? What does that mean? If someone had claimed to vivify, why didn't Ibrahim challenge him to do so as he did regarding the sun?
S 3:23 Have you not seen those who were given a share of the Book? They are called to Allah’s book to judge among them then a party of them turns away and they are averse.
The 'Book' refers to the Bible or to the Torah. But the author speaks of 'Allah's book', which is supposed to be quran. If Allah doesn't have but one book, the author should have said 'quran'. In S 5:44 The Israelite Prophets are to judge by the Torah.
S 4:44 Have you not looked at those who were given a share of the Book buying error and wanting you to stray from the way?
A share of the Book?
S 4:49 Have you not looked at those who purify themselves? Rather, Allah purifies whom he wills and they are not wronged an integument.
S 4:51 Have you not looked at those who were given a share of the Book? They believe in al-jibt and al-taghut and say for those who have disbelieved: These are more guided than those who have believed as to the way.
'Jibt' appears to have been an Ethiopian word for 'idols' or 'false gods'. 'Taghut' was probably from Aramaic.
S 4:60 Have you not looked at those who claim that they have believed in what has been sent down to you and what was sent down before you? They want to go to law to al-taghut and they had been commanded to renounce it. And the Devil wants to mislead them far away.
S 4:77 Have you not looked at those who--it was said to them: Restrain your hands and establish salat and give zakat? Then when fighting was written upon them, when a party of them fear people as the fear of Allah or more intense fear, and they said: Our lord, why have you written fighting upon us? Had you not delayed for us for a near term? Say: The enjoyment of the dunya is little and the hereafter is better for him who fears and you are not wronged an integument.
S 14:19 Have you not seen that Allah created the skies and the Earth in truth? If he wills he will remove you and bring a new creation.
Apart from the impossibility of his having been able to see that Allah created anything, how might he have seen that it was in truth, whatever that was supposed to mean?
S 14:24 Have you not seen how Allah has made a similitude: A good word is like a good tree, its origin is fixed and its branch is in the sky?
How? A single root and branch?
S 14:28 Have you not seen those who have changed Allah’s grace into kufr and settled their people at the home of wasteland?
S 19:83 Have you not seen that we have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, tanging them?
How might he?
S 22:18 Have you not seen that Allah, to him does sujud those in the skies and those on the Earth and the sun and the moon and the stars and the mountains and the trees and the beasts and many of the people? But many--the torture was rightly upon him. And he whom Allah despises, he has no honourer. Allah does what he wills.
How might he have seen such a thing?
S 22:63 Have you not seen that Allah has sent down water from the sky and the Earth grows green? Allah is nice, an expert.
S 22:65 Have you not seen that Allah has subjected to you what is on the Earth? And the ships running in the sea by his command? And he holds the sky lest it falls on the Earth except with his permission. Allah is kind, merciful to people.
The Persian king in the film 300 says that he's kind.
S 24:41 Have you not seen that Allah--he in the skies and the Earth and the bird with spread wings praises him? Each has known his salat and his tasbih. And Allah is a knower of what they do.
S 24:43 Have you not seen that Allah drives clouds then unites between them then makes them a cumulus cloud then you see the rain come out from its midst? And he sends down from the sky, from mountains therein, hail and strikes therewith whom he wills and averts it from whom he wills. The flash of its lightning nearly takes away the sight.
Lightning nearly takes away the sight?
S 25:45 Have you not looked at your lord, how he has extended the shadow? And had he willed he would have made it stationary. Then we made the sun a piece of evidence for it.
Looked at your lord? Were shadows before the sun?
S 26:225 Have you not seen that they roam in every valley
S 31:20 Have you not seen that Allah subjected to you what is in the skies and what is on the Earth and bestowed upon you his graces, visible and invisible? And of people is he who argues about Allah without knowledge or guidance or a bright book.
S 31:29 Have you not seen that Allah inserts the night into the day and inserts the day into the night and subjected the sun and the moon, all running for a designated term and that Allah is an expert in what you do?
S 31:31 Have you not seen that the ships run in the sea by Allah’s grace that he may show you of his signs? In that there are signs for every patient, grateful man.
S 35:27 Have you not seen that Allah has sent down water from the sky then we have brought out therewith fruits of their different colours? And of the mountains there are tracts, white and red of their different colours and jet black, black.
S 39:21 Have you not seen that Allah has sent down water from the sky and it has acted as springs on the Earth? Then he brings out plantation with it of different colours. Then it withers and you see it yellowing. Then he makes it debris. In that there is remembrance for the possessors of albab.
S 40:69 Have you not looked at those who argue about Allah’s verses? How they are turned away?
S 58:7 Have you not seen that Allah knows what is in the skies and what is on the Earth? There is no confidential talk of three but he is the fourth of them nor of five but he is the sixth of them nor less than that nor more but he is with them wherever they were. Then he informs them of what they did on the day of resurrection. Allah is learned in everything.
S 58:8 Have you not seen those who were forbidden confidential talk then return to what they were forbidden and hold confidential talk for wrong and oppressing and disobedience to the messenger? And when they have come to you they greet you with what Allah has not greeted you with and say in themselves: Why does Allah not torture us for what we say? Their sufficiency is Jahannam, they roast in it and miserable was the destiny.
S 58:14 Have you seen those who have taken a people as protectors whom Allah has become angry with? They are not of you nor of them and they swear to the lie while they know.
S 59:11 Have you not seen those who have played the hypocrite saying to their brothers, those who have disbelieved of the People of the Book: If you are expelled we will go out with you and will never obey anyone concerning you and if you are fought we will help you? And Allah bears witness that they are liars.
We may include S 71:15, which uses the plural.
Have you not seen how Allah created seven skies in tiers
S 89:6 Have you not seen how your lord did with Ad?
S 105:1 Have you not seen how your lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?
