Six Days

S 7:54 Your lord is Allah who created the skies and the Earth in six days then ascended the throne. He covers the night with the day seeking it quickly, and the sun and the moon and the stars--subjected by his command. Indeed, his is the creation and the command. Blessed be Allah, lord of the ‘alamin.

Who is invoking a blessing on Allah?

S 10:3 Your lord is the one who created the skies and the Earth in six days then ascended the throne, arranging affairs. There is no intercessor except after his permission. That is Allah your lord, so worship him. So do you not remember?

As there are supposedly seven earths, why doesn't the author say earths?

S 11:7 And he is the one who created the skies and the Earth in six days. And his throne was on the water to test you, which of you is best in deed. But if you say: You are raised after death, those who have disbelieved will say: This is nothing but obvious magic.

S 25:59 The one who created the skies and the Earth and what is between them in six days then ascended the Al-Rahman throne. So ask him, an expert.

S 32:4 Allah is the one who created the skies and the Earth and what is between them in six days. Then he ascended the throne. You have no protector or intercessor instead of him. So do you not remember?

S 50:38 And we created the skies and the Earth and what is between them in six days and no exhaustion touched us.

S 57:4  He is the one who created the skies and the Earth in six days then ascended the throne. He knows what passes into the Earth and what comes out of it and what descends from the sky and what ascends into it. And he is with you wherever you were. And Allah is a seer of what you do.

Where exactly is the throne? In S 2:255 we read: "His chair was wide over the skies and the Earth."

So in space somewhere. But in 67:16-17 we read:

Have you felt safe from him who is in the sky not to cause the Earth to swallow you when it undergoes commotion? / Or have you felt safe from him who is in the sky not to send a tempest against you? Then you will know how a nadhir is.

So Allah, presumably, is in the sky, the atmosphere. Perhaps the throne is, or was, in space but Allah resides in the atmosphere. But as it is a physical being, how might that be?
