In this post I list occurrences of the expression 'al-quran'.
S 2:185 The month of Ramadan wherein the Quran was sent down, a guidance for people and proofs of the guidance and the Furqan. So he among you who has witnessed the month, let him fast on it, and he who was ill or on a journey, then an ‘iddah of other days. Allah wants ease for you and does not want hardship for you, and that you complete the ‘iddah and magnify Allah for what he has guided you; and perhaps you will thank.
So the quran was sent down one night in Ramadan AD 109. Not parts of it. THE quran.
S 4:82 Do they not ponder on the Quran? Had it been from other than Allah they would have found therein much discrepancy.
As it references the quran, it cannot belong to the quran.
S 5:101 Those who have believed, do not ask about things if they become clear to you might displease you and if you ask about it when the Quran is being sent down it would become clear to you. Allah has pardoned it. Allah is a forgiver, clement.
Is he to be asked while he's suffering one of his epileptic fits? And Allah has pardoned it?
S 7:204 And when the Quran has been read, listen to it and hearken; perhaps you will be shown mercy.
S 9:111 Allah has bought from the believers their souls and their monies because theirs is the Jannah. They fight in the way of Allah. They kill and are killed. A promise upon him, a law, in the Torah and the Injil and the Quran. And who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? So rejoice in your sale which you have contracted. And that, it is the great win.
S 15:87 And we have given you seven of the mathani and the great Quran.
So whatever the mathani are, the 'great' quran is some other work. And going by the wording, not necessarily the quran. One could argue that there's the quran and then there's the GREAT quran.
If this 'great' quran is the quran, it has been GIVEN. Therefore we can conclude that S 15 does NOT belong to the quran.
S 15:91 Those who have made the Quran parts.
S 16:98 So when you have read the Quran seek refuge in Allah from the rajim Devil.
70 surahs in chronologically and only now 'Allah' is telling him to seek refuge when reading or has read the quran?
S 17:45 And when you read the Quran we put between you and those who do not believe in the hereafter a concealed screen.
Why does he need a concealed screen put up between him and those who disbelieve in the hereafter? What manner of screen is it? What does it do for him?
S 17:46 And we have put covers over their hearts lest they comprehend it and in their ears is deafness. And when you have mentioned your lord in the Quran alone, they have turned on their backsides in aversion.
S 17:60 And when we said to you: Your lord has encompassed people. And we did not make the vision which we showed you but fitnah for people and the cursed tree in the Quran. And we frighten them but it does not increase them except in big oppression.
How might a single being encompass, surround, people? Allah caused fitnah?
S 17:82 And we send down from the Quran what is healing and mercy for the believers and it does not increase the wrongdoers but in loss.
S 20:2 We have not sent down upon you the Quran for you to be wretched
Were his 'revelations' making him 'feel wretched'?
S 20:114 So exalted be Allah the king, the true. And do not hurry with the Quran before its inspiration is completed to you, and say: Lord, increase me in knowledge.
So is he making up 'revelation' before the 'inspiration' is finished? Of course, there was no inspiration.
S 25:32 And those who have disbelieved have said: Why has the Quran not been sent down upon him as one totality? Thus: That we may make your heart firm thereby, and we have uttered it as a hymnody.
It would seem that the author has 'borrowed' a church term. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines hymnody thus:
"1. hymn singing 2. hymn writing 3. the hymns of a time, place, or church"
S 27:1 Ta sin. Those are the signs of the Quran and of a clear book.
These letters are signs of the quran and of an unnamed clear book? Is this book clear but the quran isn't?
S 27:6 And you receive the Quran from a wise, knowing one.
No indication that Allah is meant. Jibril too apparently sends quran down.
S 27:92 And that I read the Quran. So he who has been guided then he is only guided for himself. And he who has strayed then say: I am only of the warners.
S 28:85 The one who has imposed the Quran upon you is returning you to a repetition. Say: My lord is a knower of him who has come with the guidance and him who is in obvious error.
Imposed? Was he disinclined to 'receive revelation' at this point?
S 36:2 By the wise Quran.
S 38:1 Sad. By the Quran, the possessor of the dhikr.
S 46:29 And when we turned a group of the jinn to you they listen to the Quran. And when they had attended it they said: Pay attention. And when it had concluded they turned back to their people as warners.
S 47:24 So do they not ponder on the Quran or are on hearts their locks?
S 50:1 Qaf. By the glorious Quran.
S 50:45 We know what they say and you are not a tyrant over them. But remind with the Quran him who fears a threat.
So the quran is a threat?
S 54:17 And we have facilitated the Quran as the dhikr so is there anyone who remembers?
S 54:22 And we have facilitated the Quran as the dhikr so is there anyone who remembers?
S 54:32 And we have facilitated the Quran as the dhikr so is there anyone who remembers?
S 54:40 And we have facilitated the Quran as the dhikr so is there anyone who remembers?
As the dhikr, As Christians and Jews are called the People of the Book, was the quran a replacement for the Bible?
S 55:2 He has taught the Quran.
S 73:4 Or add to it and recite the Quran in hymnody.
S 73:20 Your lord knows that you stand less than two thirds of the night and half of it and a third of it and a party of those with you. And Allah determines the night and the day. He knew that you will not enumerate it so he has repented for you, so read what has got easier of the Quran. He knew that there would be sick men among you and others travelling in the land seeking Allah’s favour and others fighting in the way of Allah. So read what has got easier of it and establish salat and give the zakat and give Allah a goodly loan. And what you offer for yourselves of good you find it with Allah. It is better and greater as a wage. And ask Allah for forgiveness. Allah is a forgiver, merciful.
This is the third surah in order of 'revelation' and 'Allah' is making 'the quran' easier for him? It looks like it's already abrogating.
S 76:23 We have sent down upon you the Quran as a tanzil.
S 84:21 And when the Quran has been read to them they do not do sujud?
