S 2:30 And when your lord said to the angels: I am making a successor on Earth, they said: Are you making thereon one who corrupts thereon and sheds bloods when we glorify with your praise and sanctify for you? He said: I know what you do not know.

S 2:31 And he taught Adam all their names. Then he displayed them to the angels and said: Inform me of the names of these, if you are truthful.

S 2:34 And when we said to the angels: Do sujud to Adam, they did sujud except Iblis. He refused and was arrogant and was of the kafirun.

S 2:98 He who was an enemy to Lah and his angels and his messengers and Jibril and Mikal, Allah is an enemy to the kafirun.

S 2:102 And they followed what the devils read over the dominion of Sulayman. And Sulayman did not disbelieve but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and what was sent down to the two angels in Babylon, Harut and Marut. And they do not teach anyone until they say: We are only fitnah, so do not disbelieve. But they learn from them what separates therewith man from his husband. And they do not harm therewith anyone but with Allah’s permission. And they learn what harms them and it does not profit them. And they knew whoever buys it, has no share in the hereafter. And miserable is what they sold themselves therewith, had they known.

S 2:161 Those who have disbelieved and died while they are kuffar, those, upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and people, all.

S 2:177 It is not piety to turn your faces in the direction of the rising place and the setting place but piety is he who has believed in Allah and the last day and the angels and the book and the prophets and has given money in his love of it to the two relatives and the orphans and the needy and the traveller and those who ask and on the necks and has performed salat and given the zakat and those who fulfill their covenant when they have covenanted and the patient in suffering and adversity and at the time of horribleness. Those are the ones who have told the truth and those are the fearers.

S 2:210 Are they waiting except for Allah to come to them in shadows of the clouds, and the angels, and the matter was preordained? And to Allah the matters return.

S 2:248 And their prophet said to them: A sign of his kingship is that the Ark will come to you. Therein is a Shekhinah from your lord and a remnant of what Musa’s family and Harun’s family left, the angels carrying it. In that there is a sign for you if you are believers.

S 2:285 The messenger has believed in what has been sent down to him from his lord, and the believers. All have believed in Allah and his angels and his books and his messengers. We do not distinguish between any of his messengers. And they have said: We have heard and obeyed. Your forgiveness, our lord, and to you is the destiny.

S 3:18 Allah has testified that there is no god but him and the angels and the possessors of knowledge, standing with equity. There is no god but him, the mighty, the wise.

S 3:39 Then the angels called him while he was standing, praying in the mihrab. Allah gives you good news of Yahya, confirming a word from Allah, and a chief and a continent man and a prophet among the righteous.

S 3:42 And when the angels said: Maryam, Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you over the women of the ‘alamin.

S 3:45 When the angels said: Maryam, Allah gives you good news of a word from him. His name is The Messiah Isa Son Of Maryam, a dignitary in the dunya and the hereafter and of the Muqarrabun.

S 3:80 And he does not command you to take the angels and the prophets as lords. Would he command you to kufr after when you are Muslims?

S 3:87 Those, their recompense is that upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and the people altogether.

S 3:124 When you say to the believers: Will it not be sufficient for you that your lord aids you with 3,000 of the angels sent down?

S 3:125 Yes, if you are patient and fear and they come to you immediately, this your lord aids you with 5,000 of the angels marked.

S 4:97 Those whom the angels have caused to die wronging themselves said: In what were you? They said: We were feeble in the land. They said: Was Allah’s land not wide that you might emigrate in it? Then those, their shelter is Jahannam and evil was a destiny.

S 4:136 Those who have believed, believe in Allah and his messenger and the book that he sent down upon his messenger and the Book that he sent down before. And he who disbelieves in Allah and his angels and his books and his messengers and the last day, he has strayed far.

S 4:166 But Allah bears witness to what he has sent down to you. He has sent it down with his knowledge and the angels bear witness. And Allah was sufficient as a witness.

If Allah 'was' a sufficient witness, why is the angels' witness required?

S 4:172 The Messiah will not disdain to be a slave of Lah’s nor the angels, the Mukarrabun. And those who disdain his worship and are arrogant, he gathers them to him, all.

S 6:8 And they have said: Why has an angel not been sent down upon him? And had we sent down an angel the matter would have been decided then they would not see.

S 6:9 And had we made him an angel we would have made him a man and we would have intermingled them what they intermingle.

S 6:50 Say: I do not tell you I have Allah’s treasures or know the ghayb or tell you I am an angel. I do not follow but what I am inspired with. Say: Is the blind man equal to the seeing man? So do you not ponder?

S 6:93 And who is more unjust than he who has fabricated a lie against Allah or said: I have been inspired, and was not inspired at all and he who has said: I shall send down the like of what Allah has sent down? And were you to see when the wrongdoers are in death throes and the angels stretch out their hands: Expel your souls! Today you are recompensed with the torture of abasement because you used to say other than the truth against Allah and were arrogant towards his verses.

S 6:111 And had we sent down to them the angels and the dead had spoken to them and we had gathered before them everything face to face, they would not believe except that Allah wills. But most of them are ignorant.

S 6:158 Do they look except that the angels come to them or your lord comes or some of your lord’s signs come? A day some of your lord’s signs come its faith will not benefit a soul, it had not believed before or earned good in its faith. Say: Wait. We are waiting.

S 7:11 And we created you then we formed you. Then we said to the angels: Do sujud to Adam. So they did sujud except Iblis. He was not of those who did sujud.

S 7:20 Then the Devil whispered to them to display to them what had been hidden from them of their pudenda. And he said: Did your lord not forbid you this tree but that you be angels or be of the aeonians?

S 8:9 When you ask your lord for help and he responded to you: I am aiding you with 1,000 of the angels one after the other.

S 8:12 When your lord inspires the angels: I am with you so make those who have believed firm. I shall throw terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved. So strike above the necks and strike from them every distal phalanx

Is it the angels who are to be doing the beheading and chopping off finger tips?

S 8:50 And if you saw when the angels cause those who have disbelieved to die hitting their faces and their backsides: And taste the torture of the fire.

S 11:12 Then perhaps you are leaving some of what you are inspired with and your chest is straitened by it because they say: Why has a treasure not been sent down upon him or an angel come with him? You are only a nadhir. And Allah is an agent over everything.

S 11:31 And I do not say to you I have Allah’s treasuries and I do not know the ghayb and I do not say that I am an angel nor do I say for those whom your eyes look down on, Allah will not give them good. Allah knows what is in their souls. I then would be of the wrongdoers.

S 12:31 So when she heard of their deceiving she sent to them and prepared for them a reclining and gave each one of them a knife and said: Come out before them. And when they saw him they admired him and cut their hands and said: Far be it from Lah! This is not a human being. This is nothing if not a noble angel.

S 13:13 And the thunder glorifies with his praise and the angels for fear of him. And he sends the thunderbolts and strikes therewith whom he wills. And they argue about Allah. And he is severe in injury.

S 13:23 Jannat of ‘Adn, entering them and those who were righteous among their fathers and their husbands and their offsprings. And the angels enter upon them from every gate.

S 15:7 Why do you not bring us the angels if you are of the truthful?

S 15:8 We do not send down the angels except with the truth, and they would not then be respited.

S 15:28 And when your lord said to the angels: I am creating a human being from argil, from altered mud.

S 15:30 So the angels did sujud all of them together,

S 16:2 He sends down the angels with the spirit of his command upon whom he wills of his slaves: Warn that there is no god but me so fear.

S 16:28 Those whom the angels cause to die, wrongdoers of themselves then they offered submission. We were not doing any evil. No, Allah is learned in what you used to do.

S 16:32 Those whom the angels cause to die as agreeable men saying: Peace be upon you. Enter the Jannah for what you used to do.

S 16:33 Are they looking except that the angels should come to them or your lord’s command should come? Thus did those before them. And Allah did not wrong them but they would wrong themselves.

S 16:49 And to Lah does sujud what is in the skies and what is on the Earth of beast and the angels and they are not arrogant.

Is this verse saying that angels are on Earth? Or do only those angels that are on Earth do sujud? Are the beasts not arrogant?

S 17:40 Then has your lord chosen for you sons and taken from the angels females? You say a great speech.

S 17:61 And when we said to the angels: Do sujud to Adam, they did sujud, except Iblis. He said: Am I to do sujud to one you have created as clay?

S 17:92 Or you cause the sky to fall, as you claimed, upon us in fragments or bring Allah and the angels as a tribe.

S 17:95 Say: Were there on Earth angels walking at ease we would have sent down upon them from the sky an angel as a messenger.

Why might a messenger be sent to an angel?

S 18:50 And when we said to the angels: Do sujud to Adam. So they did sujud except Iblis. He was of the jinn. And he acted immorally against his lord’s command. So do you take him and his offspring as protectors instead of me when they are an enemy to you? Miserable was an exchange for the wrongdoers.

S 20:116 And when we said to the angels: Do sujud to Adam, they did sujud, except Iblis; he refused.

S 21:103 The greatest apprehension does not grieve them and the angels receive them. This is your day which you were promised.

S 22:75 Allah chooses from the angels messengers and from people. Allah is a hearer, a seer.

Messengers are supposed to go only to their people; why might angel messengers be sent to fellow angels?

S 23:24 But the chiefs of those who had disbelieved of his people said: This is nothing but a human being the like of you. He wants to do you a favour, and had Allah willed he would have sent down angels. We did not hear of this among our first fathers.

S 25:7 And they have said: Why does this messenger eat food and walk in the markets? Why has an angel not been sent down to him that he might be a nadhir with him?

S 25:21 And those who do not hope for our meeting have said: Why have the angels not been sent down upon us or do we see our lord? They have been arrogant in themselves and were greatly insolent.

S 25:22 A day they see the angels. There is no good news on that day for the criminals and they say: A forbidden enclosure.

S 25:25 And a day the sky is split with the clouds and the angels were sent down in a tanzil.

S 32:11 Say: The angel of death who has been entrusted with you causes you to die. Then to your lord you are returned.

S 33:43 He is the one who prays for you and his angels to bring you out of the darknesses into the light and he was merciful to the believers.

S 33:56 Allah and his angels pray for the prophet. Those who have believed, pray for him and salute him.

S 34:40 And a day he gathers them all then he says to the angels: Was it you these used to worship?

S 35:1 Praise be to Lah, splitter of the skies and the Earth, maker of the angels as messengers. Possessors of wings, two and three and four. He increases in creation what he wills. Allah is almighty.

S 37:150 Or did we create the angels females while they were witnesses?

S 38:71 When your lord said to the angels: I am creating a man from clay.

S 38:73 So the angels did sujud, all of them together.

S 39:75 And you see the angels bordering around the throne glorifying with their lord’s praise. And it was decided between them in truth and it was said: Praise be to Lah, lord of the ‘alamin!

S 41:14 When the messengers came to them in front of them and behind them: Not to worship but Allah, they said: Had our lord willed he would have sent angels down. So we are kafirun in what you have been sent with.

S 41:30 Those who have said: Our lord is Allah then have become straight, the angels descend upon them: Not to fear nor to grieve and give good news of the Jannah which you are promised.

S 42:5 The skies almost break up above them and the angels glorify with the praise of their lord and ask for forgiveness for him on the Earth. Indeed, Allah is the forgiver, the merciful.

S 43:19 And they have made the angels, those who are Al-Rahman’s slaves, females. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be written and they asked.

S 43:53 So why have bracelets of gold not been thrown upon him or the angels come with him joined?

S 43:60 And were we willing we would have put angels among you succeeding in the land.

S 47:27 Then how when the angels cause them to die, striking their faces and their backsides?

S 53:26 And how many of an angel in the skies whose intercession does not avail at all except after Allah has given permission for whom he wills and approves.

S 53:27 Those who do not believe in the hereafter give the angels the denomination of the female.

S 66:4 If you repent to Allah--your hearts have deviated. And if you back one another up against him then Allah, he is his mawla and Jibril and the righteous of the believers, and the angels after that are an assistant.

S 66:6 Those who have believed, protect yourselves and your family from a fire whose fuel is people and stones. Over it are angels, harsh, severe. They do not disobey Allah what he has commanded them and they do what they are commanded.

Stones are fuel?

S 69:17 And the angel on its edges and eight carry your lord’s throne above them on that day.

S 70:4 The angels and the spirit ascend to him on a day whose amount was 50,000 years.

S 74:31 And we have not made the companions of the fire but angels. And we have not made their number except as fitnah for those who have disbelieved that those who were given the Book may be certain and that those who have believed may increase in faith and that those who were given the Book and the believers may not doubt and that those in whose hearts is disease and the kafirun may say: What did Allah want by this example? Thus Allah misguides whom he wills and guides whom he wills. And none knows your lord’s troops but him. And it is nothing but a remembrance for the human being.

S 78:38 A day the spirit and the angels stand in a row, they do not speak except him whom Al-Rahman has permitted for him and he said correctness.

S 89:22 And your lord and the angel has come, rank, rank.

S 97:4 The angels and the spirit descend therein with their lord’s permission, from every affair.
